I lost 20 pounds...How? I drank bear piss and took up fencing. How the **** you think, son? I exercised.
Guilty. I am definitely ignorant to the intimate inner workings of hospitals and medical procedures. From your comment's I thought maybe you were well informed on the topic and educate us all a little bit.... or are you just as ignorant as I am but taking the other side just for the sake of argument?
Thanks for the wishes guys.
I didn't explan myslefwell enough I had the surgery yesterday. But I had to wait a full 24hours to get it.
I'm recovering right now. It seems like I might get discharged tomorrow. It seems like there's not much organization here
I hope your road to recovery is a speedy one! Did they give you any idea how long it would take for a full recovery, or at least how long before you will be vertical again?
Ouchy Big D. Glad your surgery went well and I wish you a speedy recovery.
wow thats ****ed man, sorry to hear...hope you have a speedy recovery
If you are in the u.s. and you have insurance then health care can be pretty amazing.
A 24 hour wait to reattach the tendon isn't bad at all.
Thats actually very quick as it is considered an emergency surgery. Anyone who has had tendon surgery would know that it must be done fairly quickly as the tendon will scar over with time and lose elasticity thus making re-attachment impossible. A few days is no problem...a few weeks can become an issue. With quadricep tendons however they would perform surgery as soon as possible not just because of mobility but other complications.
