    thanks!
P22- I did my best... the 3rd place was actually a tie in score for second... and I gauge that as an accomplishment since the same girl beat me unannamously last year!

Mike and Ryan were pretty much both insanely conditioned and equally matched... one point seperated them! total split decision, rumour has it, both will be heading to Nationals, along with Todd Payette, Amber Pawlyshyn (trying for middle weight) joyce, and myself, and a bunch of the figure girls.

i meet with my trainer on wed. going to start national prep. the feedback i got was more shoulders and hams. This is where the line is fine for a natty athlete.. I SERIOUSLY pounded as much on me as i could over the winter... i mean there is nothing else i could have done to get bigger shoulders, and it seems thats the first palce the girls who supplement with a little more power than creatine gain... Oh well... Ill keep pushing through, working on perfecting my routine and raise the bar of where my "best" is!!

If anyone at the show has any tips, advice or critiques for me... i'd be real glad to hear them! I take it all in and try to improve! I appreciate thanks CBB for all the support!

OH and i need a t-shirt by aug 14, because i should be repping CBB at BB Nationals in saskatoon.. lol ill be 2 weeks out then and lookin good!!!

Actually neither Mike or Ryan are headed to the Canadians, and it wasn't as close a competition as you may have thought. The 'one point' difference was really an insult to Mike, not a complement to Ryan, as Mike was just that much better conditioned then Ryan. When you are carrying so much water in your lower legs that you have no calf definition, let alone have the same legs you did when you were a 20 lbs lighter heavy weight you don't deserve to win anything.

And Ryan knows that full well.

If he had legs to match his upperbody he would be a pro already. But at 29 years old and a torn pectoral, if he hasn't brought those legs up by now, Chances are they aint coming up period.

As for Big Mike, he is well on his way to winning a procard! so next year Montreal look out!

From the 8th row it was Todd Payette that stood out in the line up. While I thought his conditioning looked about 8 weeks from shredded his muscle shape, symmetry and size stood out over the competition. If I were to pick who was going to be the most competitive from the manitoba crew Payette would be the guy. I think Mike looked great and his conditioning was spot on but this year I think we have seen his best and Todd's best would be better. Payette picked his parents better.

Are ya nuts or what. Mike won for a reason he Beat Todd in every aspect. Even if Todd came in a 100% he would have to lose at least 20 more pounds. He would look wayyyy to small standing next to Mike.

Mike deserved the win for sure!

As far as myself, I did the show for fun. I wasn't at my best. Just wanted to have some laughs. As far as having to lose 20lbs to be in shape as Emes said....LOL! That would mean I would be competing under 200lbs and that is not going to happen. As far as looking small next to Mike, you might be suprised. Muscle shape and symmetry can go a loooong way when you are peeled with the right shapes. I am not saying I would have beat Mike, but if my focus would have been Provincials and I came in like I will at Nationals this year, well I would have pushed Mike hard. At that point it becomes the judges preference.

Big Mike has a great shot at going pro, as does Prisoner 22.

As for myself, I will continue to do my best. Try to grow, polish and refine. As a good friend told me "change your set point for conditioning". Nationals will be fun.

Congrats to big Mike. He was outstanding and you will not find a nicer guy!

Its stupid, looking in hindsight you should have won best poser hands down, but they gave it to Ryan as sort of a consolation prize for not beating Mike.

    Bodybuilding and politics eh!

Well bro, I can hardly wait to see you get bigger, coz those routines you pull out are gonna look even more impressive...

    See in Saskatoon!
