nolva isn't a fat burner. Women using nolva are also starving themselves and doing a boat load of cardio.

    You should google that again
I lost 20 pounds...How? I drank bear piss and took up fencing. How the **** you think, son? I exercised.

I am entering my first BB contest and am considering using Nolvadex.
Are women allowed to use it in a contest cycle? I am 10 weeks out as of now.
Or if anyone could direct me to a Canadian site that outlines what is and isnt allowed that would be most helpful
Really like the idea of loosing that long term stubborn fat, hoping its allowed!

It's a prescription drug. That should tell you if it's permitted by your organization or not.
OBSESSED is just a word the LAZY use to describe the DEDICATED.

Good luck is the result of hard work and preparation.

Every time you stay out late...every time you sleep in ....every time you miss a workout...every time you don't give 100%...you make it that much easier for me to beat you.

it depends which assoc / federation you are competing with
if its with CBBF affiliate see below....

    Drug Testing:
The BCABBA follows the strict guidelines that the CBBF have in place to qualify you as competitors to be able to enter in the IFBB World Championships starting at a novice and western Canadian level here in BC. This applies to any competitor wanting to enter the World Qualifier, which for the year 2003 is held in Hamilton Ontario July 5. THE CBBF HAS OFFICIALLY ADOPTED CANADA'S POLICY FOR DOPING IN SPORT FOR ITS "WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS COMPETITIVE STREAM"

In cooperation with the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sports (CCES) - the federal- and IOC-recognized organization in Canada for conducting doping-control testing -- the CBBF "World Championship Competitive Stream" fully adheres to the Canadian Policy on Doping in Sport. All testing is done to IOC standards.

Athletes take note: you are fully responsible for your conduct in the sport. Luckily, there is help out there -- the CCES has an extensive website located at www.cces.ca
We encourage you to visit it regularly and keep yourself updated.

To learn more about our "World Championships Competitive Stream" and how you can qualify for the prestigious IFBB World Championships, please see our Contests page.

Remember, the CBBF is the only organization that qualifies you for the IFBB World Championships and IFBB Pro Card status.

LEARN MORE ABOUT DOPING CONTROL TESTING Some organizations claim to test their athletes for banned substances, but do they? Who is monitoring them? What kind of tests are they doing? Are they using accepted practices by the sporting community? Are they doing any tests at all?

The CBBF is proud to say that we've been doing it right for years. That's because we use the services of the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sports -- Canada's recognized body for testing sports of all types. Does your organization test properly? Don't be afraid to ask them -- as an athlete, it's YOUR right to know!

Remember Nolvadex is a Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator which works much differently then Aromasin/Arimidx/Femara which are Aromatase Inhibitors. SERMS are actually weak estrogens that bind to the estrogen receptor and thus prevent estrogen itself from binding and doing its job...hence the associated sides. AI's on the other hand reduce the aromatase enzyme which is necessary for the conversion of testosterone to estrogen...by reducing aromatase less estrogen is created and thus less sides. The key point here being that with women not much test is produced to begin with and thus there is not much conversion...as well the AI has little effect on endogenous estrogen production. This is the reason for using Nolvadex vs an AI...no more than 8 weeks is prudent because there will be an inherent rebound from the excess estrogen in the blood stream.

Would love to know if Clomid would produce the same effects of nolvadex? As its a serm, and if it does what would a good dose be?
