Damn Rogers!!

So I had to upgrade my modem because I couldn't get the 25mgps with my old one...Well I can't hook up my PS3 to my comp for file sharing. I can access the internet and my PSN account...

I've tried using Windows Media Player 11 didn't work. I've tried TVersity and that didn't work.

Anyone have any ideas at all?

ps3 has windows media center now, why not use that and sync it to ur comp

My computer sees the PS3 and my PS3 will connect to the internet on my computer. I attempted to sync on the PS3 by searching for a media server that I set up on the computer and nothing.

I started everything from scratch after it didn't work the first time so the IP shouldn't be the issue - connects to the internet.

rogers sucks so bad, i cant stand them anymore. i have to complain every month :S

rogers may suck but they don't have anything to do with why his ps3 can't talk to his computer on his home network.

I would have to disagree. My network was fully operational prior to getting the new modem/wireless router....Tech support wasn't able to assist me in setting up my old wireless router to the new modem/wireless router. The company who makes the modem wasn't able to assist with that also...No one was able to assist with my PS3 situation either.

To get the faster speeds I need the new modem
