My wife is not into fresh flowers. I know she may be an exception. I have been thinking about taking my wife dog-sledding. We are both dog lovers and this is her first winter in Canada. I thought it would be a unique experience for her.

hmmm, all pretty good ideas thus far. We've only been in the relationship together for 4 months. the home cook dinner thing is a great idea except that she always comes over here and seeing as i watch what i eat ive cooked her dinner before , so it wouldnt be a nice suprise.
^^^Does she have a favorite restaurant? You can pickup from there.
You can also cook together.....Food can be very sensual. See if you can get through making dinner before you she drags you off to the bedroom
You can cook in a Valentines apron....and nothing else.
Use your imagination. If she is worth having around she will recognize the effort over the results.

I like the idea of picking up her favorite food. That would be a good one, and to keep things playful you could get one of those chocolate fondue sets and get some fresh fruit for desert.
Take her out for dinner.
Bring her home to flower petals on the bed/champagne/chocolate dipped strawberries.
My suggestion: being only 4 months (I say only with caution because some "fall" quicker than others)
Dress nicely, pick her up and go to a nice restaurant (there otta be plenty in Vancouver). Have a few drinks perhaps throughout the meal (please, avoid beer!) and suggest that you have dessert awaiting at home. At home, you should have a fondue prepared and ready to go; chocolate that is. Strawberries, cherries, pineapple, grapes and bananas (<-these are awesome) all work wonderfully as dippers. Have some champagne or if desired some sauternes or cremanté (sweet wines) on hand to enjoy with it. Two roses, broken up will produce a lot of peddles and generally the flower shops are willing to give you them from roses that are just starting to wither. Spread them on the end of the bed (easily wiped off eliminating chance of stain) but in the middle have 4 long stem roses, tied in ribbon of her favorite color (one for each month you've been together). Have a few candles, preferably those with small wick (thus a small flame= nice dim light). Make love, sleep. Prepare her a nice breakfast in the morning to seal the deal. Something quick and easy is Belgian waffles, strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate sauce (Sobey's for the win). With nice cup of coffee and juice and you're all set. Quite simple, very effective and price conservative. Enjoy[/QUOTE]
