On a side note, my cousin Mike from Victoria , b.c., has been called up by the Mariners and is playing left field for them hopefully for the rest of the year...watch out for him, he's only 22 and should be one of the top tier canadians in the MLB in the coming years.

Verenon Wells is the worst contratc signing in the history of contracts he is a ****ing lemon.....7 years 126 million next year he makes 12.5 million, the year after that 23 million and the following three years he makes 21 million, the guy isnt worth 1 million and he is making the same money as pujols makes me sick but I still love my jays

you got to be kidding me.. i had no idea he was going to make that kind of money. I assumed he would be around the 10-12 million range for the entire extent of his contract. Christ, with dollars like that i would expect Ryan Howard numbers atleast for offensive output...what a joke...no other team will pick up that salary either.
