Need date ideas asap!

if you want to make something of it, be original forget the movie idea.. if you want to get to know her how are you going to talk if you spend your date in the movie theater, do something like as suggested go to the zoo, or to some other sort of interactive outing. i love taking my girlfriend out last week we headed into the city and spent a few hours walking around an old navel base that had been turned into a provincial park/ museum then went to the beach later that evening. just think outside the box and you will stand out in her mind.

basically just dont be boring take a look at what your city or town has to offer and capitolze on it remember most girls are looking for a guy who can make plans for themselves so dont play the " i dont know, what do you want to do " game with her.. it gets old fast.

1) make her a picnic, take her to a beach and have it by the water
2) take her for ice cream, walk around at a park

I think the usual dinner/movie stuff wont make u stand out. Skydiving may be a little extreme for a first date.

For s first date you need a forum for communication. You need to be able to get to know each other. Thats just not going to happen being quiet in a theater for 2 hours, same goes for a comedy club for that matter. Save those for a couple dates in.

The picnic on the beach will have her wanting some tubesteak smothered in underwear for desert IMO.

something out of the ordinary usually always works for me. depends what kind of girl she is though. if she's the girly girly type she might not like go karting, but if she's seems to be the type than go karting would actually be a a good idea. I did take out a girl to a go-karting date and she really liked it. we went to a nice pub afterward, drank a few beers and played pool.

i heard from many girls though that they would really enjoy if I guy would make a nice lunch, bring out a blanket and arrange a picnic in a nice park or something. I would personally not do that on a first date seems a little too romantic, but yet, girls seem to like this romantic stuff.

agree you have to establish communication on the first date, that's why you can do something fun like go-karting but go to a pub or some place where you can talk afterward. during a picninc there'S plenty of time to talk but it can get awkward if you have nothing to talk about. that's why going to a place like go-karting can facilitate communication, relax the atmosphere, and give yourselves something to talk about. if you don't know the girl, a picnic can be kinda awkward.

I went on a "date" with one of my exs recently hahaha.. We went to the falls and went out for diner at copa cabanas (All you can eat delicious meat). Dessert we went to the hersey store lol. We then went to the kiddy casino which is just an arcade and then we did some glow in the dark mini putting. We also got a hotel room. We had a good time and we always split what we do 50/50 so the price wasnt a big deal. It was a really good time overall. Cost about $160 each for the entire night but we stayed in a real nice hotel. You could do all that minus the hotel for about $140 and have a great time. I also got a free massage out of it because we had a bet going during mini golf (winner got a massage).

Nothing is worse than feeling like in some type of interview at a restaurant.. go shopping for yourself and bring her along somewhere like a mall.. not confrontational.. tease her a bit and have some fun...
