we need a mod to at the very least, make stickys with the useful threads

well i hav made a request here and there to a mod/admin to sticky a thread, and they have been accomidating.

so uhm i'd like to nominate myself...i haven't been on the scene for too long but my job allows me to browse the boards pretty much all day.
from what ive seen there is only one major problem which requires mod involvement and thats source fishing, which doesnt happen too often.
a minor one is threads not being posted in the right subforum. usually i see this happening with various articles/research being posted in the more popular sub-forum so more people will read the threads..but there is a reason why we have a dedicated subforum for that.
I agree source fishing is annoying, but thats mainly a "first post" issue. I think product pimping is worse. I remember seeing several posts saying how they receive unsolicited PMs and emails. IMO that's what's really dangerous; scammers, fake products, or genuine but unsafe sources
Is it still cheating if everybody's doing it?
