I'm a registered nurse, as well. So I believe in doing things as healthy as possible.. and I always prep myself... and always am equal to or the most conditioned ahtlete in every show I do. I have competed in 11 shows so far, so I am pretty experienced.
I know all the tricks of posing, best color, etc.
I personally gain at least 5, but usually closer to 7 lbs of muscle every year consistently, so I have a proven track record on how to grow.
If you want to put on muscle while you diet into the best conditioned shape of your life. That's what I do.
My diets consist of higher carbs (than most), mod fat, high protein
I believe in incorporating cardio
Final prep I don't believe in water loading
I don't believe in cheat days or reload days.. The odd clean cheat meal however is acceptable.
