    Default Bodybuilder friendly meals

Hey guys just thought i'd start a thread that we can share our ideas on bodybuilder friendly meals... oftentimes we get in a routine of preparing and eating the same things and ideas to spice up the daily meal plan is appreciated.

I'll start off...My breakfast the other day was an expiriment of sorts. I had a craving for pancakes as i was making some delicious ones for my kids. Now i'm staying away from carbs in the offseason so what's a guy to do? Well i simply mixed three scoops of my favourite 100% iso protein powder from CanadianProtein.com with a bit of water to make the same consistency of pancake batter and i fried it up in extra virgin coconut oil. It turned out looking exactly like traditional pancakes although not really fluffy. Now i didn't have any Walden Farms carb free syrup so i made my own topping consisting of organic fat free natural greek yogourt mixed with a packet of splenda and a tablespoon of natural peanut butter and topped it off with a handfull of bran bud fiber cereal. (the topping kind of tastes like a peanut butter cheesecake). This was a fantastic breakfast providing nearly 80 grams of protein and low carb, moderate fat.

Add egg whites to the protein powder and youll have fluffy pancakes. Yu can get no sugar added syrup at the Metro in the regular syrup section.

Great breakfast for BB's=8oz steak + 3 whole eggs, with mushrooms and cheese...medium grapefruit for carbs.

Lots of iron too! I used to eat that almost every day before a contest.
