I was right behind the judges table at the show, and sometimes pictures don't convey how ripped and hard someone is. Mike J. was without a doubt the most conditioned guy there. If you look at the judges scorecards, they placed him straight firsts in his class. Not 100 percent sure how the overall went down, but heard second hand it was the same there as well.

Coming from strictly a fan of the sport and trying to as unbiased as I can be, Mike Johnson absolutely deserved the win. There's a lot of if "this guy was a little drier, or that guy a little bigger" that happens after every show, but the fact remains that on the day of the show, Mike was the best bodybuilder there.

Exactly and well put...you don't win shows on boards, you show up and be dead on with everything...I had no idea who this guy was but he was the best and congrats to him...man he had about a 28 inch waist it looked like from dead center seats in the middle...

Mike has great stage presence and knows how to pose with the best of them. Presentation means a lot on stage. You can't always get that from pics. When you see Mike pose, he somehow gets bigger and muscles you never thought he had come popping out.
