So who's tried this to heal injuries and what do you think about it? It's rather new and it would be good to hear some feedback for those who have had nagging injuries for years.

that looks very painful
I'd sooner have surgery.
fouad touts the benefits of this therapy yet he also touted the therapy of a chiro only to denounce him months later. I question people who give praise to something so quickly after treatment - he literally did it within weeks. I'd feel really good too if i went from going all out in the gym down to nothing for 6 weeks.
It may work and it may work well but i'd like to see more research on it first.
I lost 20 pounds...How? I drank bear piss and took up fencing. How the **** you think, son? I exercised.
Scott Milne just had it done too. I am seriously thinking about it for myself. I'll keep CBB updated if I give it a go.

Good luck is the result of hard work and preparation.

Every time you stay out late...every time you sleep in ....every time you miss a workout...every time you don't give 100%...you make it that much easier for me to beat you.

I fail to see the science behind this.
If somebody knows the physiological benifits of doing this, please let us know.
I had 3 PRP injections after I had microfracture surgery on my knee, as suggested by my surgeon... Each shot was $325, so it wasn't cheap. Apparently, it was supposed to improve the speed and quality of healing but I can't really attest to it. And after spending over a $1000 on it, I can't say I'm too happy.
I heard Kobe Bryant had some sort of "improved" PRP shot this offseason in his ankle... Anyone know what it's called or anything about it?
325 a shot. hgh + some quality rest would be cheaper.
That looked ****ing brutal! One thing I noticed is that the doc didn't change the needle when he switched injection spots. I thought that was a no no. Last place I would want to contract an infection would be right in a joint. Tim Ferris had some sort of cocktail done on himself and ended up getting a bad infection.
On a side note I have heard IGF1 frequently injected into the injured area is supposed to help.
Docs do this all the time. I see it everyday. One thing I noticed is that the doc didn't change the needle when he switched injection spots. I thought that was a no no.
I sell PRP to docs and I've talked to them about it. The feedback I am getting is that some like it and some don't. Studies really aren't there yet. A few docs I know like it for Tennis Elbow. Also, heard it was good for Plantar Fasciitis and there was a very recent study that came out that was very positive for Plantar Fasciitis and PRP injections.
