    Default palumbo diet results

    Hi guys,

    I'm 5 days in on the Palumbo, so far it sucks not eating carbs, I haven't felt like this since I quit smoking. It's tolerable so I'll suck it up. Just tired a lot.

    I do have a few questions about it.

    When my kids are eating carbs like NOW, is there a way to kill the cravings?

    How much weight can you lose weekly?

    Can I skip the cheat meal? If not, what do you guys eat?

    How many carbs does it take to kick out of keto? I had 2 forks of pasta on tuesday night at work....felt bad after.

    How long do you stay on a diet like this?

    no you NEED the cheat meal, something to do with your thyroid. cheat meal is 500 grams of carbs. im having pankakes and ice cream.

    I find pellegrino (bubbly water with some taste) and a squeeze of lemon helps with the hunger. I am 4 weeks in and have dropped about 10 pounds and an 1.5" on my waist. In the first 2 weeks you shouldn't have a cheat meal, but i did. Have a human sized meal with a good dose of carbs. Your weight will jump up 3-5 pounds the next morning and the water will start dumping again the following day. I am planning to be on this diet for 16 weeks. I think that is about as long as you would want to. I tried to diet for 20 weeks last year and it was dreadful. Better would be 12 but I doubt that I will be lean enough after 12.

    Just walk away. Be strong it wont last forever.

    Can I skip the cheat meal? If not, what do you guys eat?
    The longest I've gone was 2 weeks. It did feel good , too .

    How much weight can you lose weekly?
    I'm sure it's different for everyone. You could lose up to 5lbs your first week , depending on how many cals your taking in. But you have to remember without the glycogen in your muscles your lacking water to , so after your carb meal you can regain a few lbs.

    How long do you stay on a diet like this?
    Personally , I think you can stay on this for as long as you want. I would not stay in a low calorie state ( below maintaince ) for over 16 weeks without taking in more cals for a few weeks.


    Something I have found that works well for cravings ( if you have a sweet tooth ) is Xtend by Scivation - BCAA drink with some extras . Tastes like Kool-Aid.

    Yup,get away and drink lots of carbonated water like diet seven-up..or anything diet..crystal light as well.The bubbles from The carbonated water fills your stomach up a bit mor

    First week you will probably lose 10lbs..but 7 of that water.Of course that all depends on how much calories your ingesting and how much cardio you are doing and if you are using supplement like clen and t3.All in all you could lose up to 2-3lbs a week[/QUOTE]

    Not a good idea to skip a cheat meal.You need to regulate your thyroid.The first time you start your diet however wait till the second week to do so,so your body is able to reajust quickly once you do cheat

    Thats a no no!!You shouldnt have more than 45 grams of carbs from indirect sources(eggs,nuts,lettuce,crystal light has 1g) and i wouldnt go over 8grams of indirect carbs in one meal

    thanks for the tips guys, it'll help alot. I don't know if I can go 16 weeks! I'm thinking 10 weeks, maybe 12. I am 232# before I started this and 19%bf. I'm hoping to get to around 12%.

    for cravings:
    1. Green Tea
    2. Get out of house and go for a walk
    3. 0 Cal Sugar Free Metamucil Orange Fibre Drink
    4. Gum (3-4 pieces daily)
    5. Diet Pop (within reason)
    6. Coffee (last resort within reason)

    ephedrine helps cravings

    after 2-3 weeks in you won't really have cravings. you might think about food, but you won't actually feel hungry. its a bizarre phenomenon. when I'm distracted I'll look at the clock and realized its time to eat and hunger did not remind me.

    everyone seemed to dance around the answer for how much weightloss per week so I'll just throw it out there that 1-3lbs of steady loss is easily possible. and that's after all the water and glycogen is flushed out.

    cheat meal should just be high carb, high protein, low fat. stick to that and you can eat what you want till you're full.
