Ive been using this product for 2 months, 45 min before bedtime with my Now ZMA and my sleep pattern has greatly improved. My mood is better as well. I used to take melatonine but I was worried of naturel supression of melatonin production and so decided to switch for 5-htp.
I had some hardcore drowsiness after taking it the first week. It does not give as much drowsiness anymore but defiantly helps me fall asleep and stay asleep.
I cannot compare with 5-htp from other manufacturer since I never used any other brand. I give a 5/5 to this product for effectiveness, it does what it should be doing.
I am using 100mg, I do not know what taking only 50mg would do since my caps are 100mg.
