Based in Fairfield, California, GeniSoy Products Company is dedicated to making healthy and tasty soy-based products. It is part of a 35-year old company (MLO Products) that started making sports nutrition bars and protein powders in 1964. GeniSoy was founded in 1997 after MLO began manufacturing isolated soy protein products for institutional research studies investigating soy's health benefits. Soon after these benefits were substantiated, the first GeniSoy products were developed to bring the health benefits of soy to the world in a form that was convenient, economical, and delicious. Since then, we've been committed to providing the highest quality, best tasting, and most affordable soy products available.
GeniSoy offers consumers a variety of soy protein products that includes bars, shakes, powders, soy milk, soy nuts, and soy crisps. The protein powder can be used in many recipes from smoothies to freshly baked muffins. Numerous recipes are found in our recipe book.
GeniSoy uses only water processed isolated soy protein from IPP Certified, non-GMO (non-genetically modified organism) soybeans. Water processing preserves the naturally occurring levels of isoflavones found in soy (genistein and daidzein). Research has demonstrated isoflavones' antioxidant properties and numerous studies have demonstrated soy's ability to reduce the risk of heart disease by lowering blood cholesterol. The majority of these studies used the same isolated soy protein found in GeniSoy products.
