I am wondering those that have them how do you train chest?
I've had mine for a little over 3 years now over the muscle. I never do any flat bench at all any more. I do mostly incline DB or hammer. I will do flys flat or incline as well as cable.

This thread needs pics :P
Just joshing
Im thinking of getting implants myself, my chest is rather lacking
I know a number of lady's who Body build and train their chests the same with implants as when they had no implants. Though some may see training their chests in a different manor for different reasons..
I've had mine for a couple of years now. They are under the muscle. Was told NOT to train chest HEAVY anymore as building the muscle over the implants would cause the implants to "spread apart". I still train chest, but keep it light and just focus on getting a good pump....so far, so good:)
So in regards to this what is "better" over or under the muscle ?
My wife has been thinking about getting hers done so besides doing some reading online I don't know too much about it.
Talo, as I stated, mine are under the muscle. I actually had intended to get them over (as I was told that with overs, I could still train chest heavy), but the PS said I didn't have enough breast tissue to do it. He said you would see the "outline" of the implants. I really wanted them to appear natural, so ended up with unders. The recovery time was very short (for me) as well.
I went over the muscle as the PS said I had too much muscle on my chest and likely my recovery would be much longer if I went that route. Like 69 said if she wants a natural look under is better. I figured there was no way 600 cc's was going to look natural regardless of placement.
Talo, it depends on what she is looking for. There are advantages/disadvantages of both routes. The pain and recovery time sub-muscular is much greater than that of above the muscle. Personally, I absolutely hate that "ball" look that you often see when fitness competitors with over-the-muscle implants get when really lean. Plus, there's always a higher risk for capsular contracture.
I went a kind of in-between route - sub-fascial...it's not really under the muscle, but more supported and covered than it would be with the traditional "over the muscle" procedure. I had very little pain during my recovery and was back to training heavy around 4 weeks post-op.
To answer OP's question, if you're above the muscle and you feel like you're healed and your surgeon has given you the green llight, I see no reason why you can't be training heavy again 4-6 weeks post op. Just make sure to ease into it!
OP, you went with 600's?!?!?!
I thought that over the muscle implants could shift as well that is the main reason I haven't gone heavy since I got them.
And yes 600cc's before I started competing I was 36D last contest I did before I got my boobs I was an almost A cup. I had a lot of extra skin so it was really easy for the PS to slip the gel implants in he went thru the nipple wasn't sure if he would be able to or not but it worked out. With sub-fascial and under the muscle is it an anchor insesion under the breast fold? If so how is that for healing?
shit this sounds painful! Girls are brave no BS about it!
CC just got a set, 600 ccs, under the muscle, 10 days post op and she is doing almost 100 percent, just not in the gym for another 3-4 weeks, then slow from there. Pain topped out at day 3, and got better from there, absolutely no bruising, very little swelling, i had to refrain from attacking them because they looked nice so fast, i tend to forget they are new....
...The doc said she has to go lighter now as being under the muscle she could spread them out, and she has a lot of muscle in her pecs already, so in recovery she needs to be extra careful because of this fact, they are very tight right now, but they are dropping into position beautifully...I get to be the massage boy...
Money well spent, she is always confident anyway, now i am scared!!! ;^)
Christmas!
new boobs = new man :O well at least it seems like the over all consensus here lol
Ru drinkin and typing again???? Whachu reading, i dont see any women saying they got new man after boobs.....lol....ya boob!!! ;^)
doesnt make sense gringo!!!
BTW, it really depends on a womens structure as far as size goes.....
We went to a doc that had a camera that will show you pretty much exactly how your new boobs will look....Damn it is dead on as well...
CC has wide shoulders and narrow waist, as well as deep chest cavity, so 600 ccs actually look quite normal, not like big bazongas dropped under a bra....lol....
Under the muscle definitely feels/looks more natural.......
My understanding is that for the first 4-6 weeks, you want to avoid any lifting, and work your way up after the 4-6 week period is up. After about 4 weeks or so, the implant is generally in the position it's supposed to be. The easy lifting following that time period is more for the integrity of the incision, rather than the implant placement. If you're healing as scheduled, I wouldn't worry about it, as long as it feels right. I started integrating stretching for a week or so before returning to the weights. Incredible how stiff the upper body can get after a few weeks of not training/stretching!
I was also a 36D before starting competing. I went with 350cc, sub fascial with a moderate profile (because my chest was so wide a high profile would have looked like torpedos). I also had a good amount of sag so we did a lift as well. He went in peri-areolar (around nipple) but I didn't need the typical lollipop type of incision thank god. If I wouldn't have gotten the lift with it, I would have opted for an incision under the breast fold though. Unfortunately I've lost all sensation in my nips.
So are you really happy with them? Good surgeon?
Sacrifice.
I went moderate profile as well kinda wish I would have went tradditional route as there is an issue finding the right fitting bra but really love VS incredible bra. I am happy however I wish I would have listned to PS one breast is slightly larger than the other. When I am real lean it's hard to tell but if I put on some pounds I can notice there not perfectly symmetrical. He was really good I am overall very happy. Sucks that you lost all sensation in the nipples I went around the nipples as well one is slightly more senstive then than the other.
hahah
Well the cats out of the bag....... lol.....IW couldn't wait to tell about his new toys haha
Thanks SQT, I am healing quite quickly, but don't want to hurt myself bc I do feel really good. My incision was below the breast, 600CC moderate profile/saline. I really do LOVE them lol. As IW stated the Dr told me to ease into the weights and be very careful bc of the amount of pectorial muscle I already have. He told me I will be able to make those puppies dance.....I will have to compete with IW now.
I believe in order to get what what works for you a consulation is the only way to go, mainly bc you hear so many different things find a good Dr. and they will help you make the decision that best suits your body and lifestyle.
The reason I went with what I did......
submuscular - helps to keep them in place, bc of the size of implant I have gravity always takes a toll and outside the muscle they will drop and I hope to never have to have them redone.
inscision - below the breast - its hidden, and I didn't want to wreck my nipples .......now they are very sensitive
600CC - best suited for my body
saline - saline you can tell when it leaks or ruptures, you will just pee it out, and the health history is there, the gels there isn't alot of information out there on the new gel implants
Yeah my gf that went under the muscle can make hers dance like crazy its pretty funny. If I were to do it again I think I would do it in the brest fold as well smart not to risk the nipple sensation.
I agree with the consult I went to two diffrent Dr. I found the 2nd one answered my questions better and just got a better gut feeling with him. Trying on the boobs is a ton of fun and totally motivating to get the funds saved up.
"Trying on the boobs?"
^^^lol, obviously you are uneducated in the area of boobs, in fact you should be very educated, arent you still latched to your moms??? Yes i know who you are....lol.....You havent seen her x frame structure....600 ccs aint that big when a lady has a deep chest and wide shoulders and small waist and well built legs, it flows...Thats why she did it...d'oh....
And you obviously arent very good with math either...600 ccs is only about 1.75 lbs.....
Send me your email for pics....
I’ll send you mine - LOL --- Just kidding
I was trying to figure out if that was a curious girl or a creepy dude
:)
"If you know who i am,. then u know I am WELL educated about implants! Wasn't a dig, just was making a point about long term effects!!!! Thanks though" Celeste Storm
i said boobs.....
CC if you have a Bay around you you should check for Shock Absorber brand bra its amazing if your are doing any higher impact type of workout running or say something like horse back ridding boobs don't move at all. It's a little pricey but they last a long time very high quality.
