prepared to be wowed!!
this can be anticipation thread.... lol
since deciding 9pretty much) to do the nxt yr ottawas... decided to kick it up a notch, since i already "thought" i was lean...lol (was the best shap of my life....at the time.... maybe a pic or two floating from a month or 2 ago)
got my boy bluenose from here to construct a plan of attack for a 6wk cutter to see what we need to work on (everything) then take advantage of the rebound by staying lean...
well, im flabbergasted at the results 2wks in, and even he agrees...kind of rediculous... we didnt know what to expect... but didnt expect this........
cant wait to show the b4 and afters....
stay tunneeeed./.......
phats!!

Jesus H Christ why would you post this now....the suspense is killin' me!!!!!
-
Lol! That's the point!! Just worked out and I'm even tighter, skin thinnning out...this is like the final prep week... See changess every day..only been goin on 3wks now..half way point!! :)
-
Yep, must say he lost a wack of weight. Very close to 30 pounds now and 17 plus pounds in the first week. Phats has a ways to go yet, but looking good for just shy of three weeks of dieting. I think when the comparison from the first week to now is pretty dramatic. But I'm bias lol.

Just a word of advise. The 'rebound' post contest is never good, and never really nets any decent muscle gains. it is water and fat gains, and is really bad for your heart. The last thing your body will do when you have been stressing it and over-training it to peak for a show, is to want to gain a lot of muscle. You'll have excess cortisol floating around by then, let alone be greatly desensitized to anabolics due to time for receptor tolerance to increase, and the binding globulins in sufficient quantity to slow things down. Not a good environment for gains. Good way to put yourself in hospital with fluid overload. If you have preexisting condition, great way to tip yourself into flash pulmonary edema.
just another myth that so-called bodybuilding experts have propigated>>> just like its a good idea to gain like 60 or more lbs of fat and water in the off season in hopes of gaining more muscle
If you think thats a good idea, then I suggest you take up smoking to help with your diet :).

on another note, though you are looking good, the hard work definitely is paying off.
-
Thanks.. And by rebound.. I'm talkin back up to 220-230..SLOWLY while keeping this condition or very close too... I don't want to waste this hard work..
Phats

I will have to strongly disagree with Prisoner#22. Sure the rebound is hard on your heart but you'll get the best growth post contest with the rebound effect. I'm not going to argue or get into a pissing match. That's my side of the coin. You can choose to listen to him or me. Your choice. Looking good Phats...good job Bluenose.

Looking sliced and well on your way within a very short period of time being stage ready. (couple weeks at most)

Thnks dk!! Didn't think possible...I was hopin for ab outline at the end.. Such a stubborn area..never imagined this change in 3wks.. Very stoked
Alittle suffering goes along way..

I actually thought it was going to be harder than it really has turned out to be. What I mean by that is Phats, not sure if I can call him that anymore, has done everything that I asked so far. Well, except for the nuggs the other night...lol........ From bumping the cardio up to an hour and a half at one point to lowering carbs. The weight came flying off right from week one. Thank god for fats!!!
It was hard to tell what was underneath the fat, but I believe he looks proportionate now. His upper body has always over powered his lower, but now I think things match up considerably.

Results make everything easier and worthwhile!!
