What do you mean by bulk? Like 10-15 filets or 100? I buy mine at costco. I think it's 2kg for 15$. Chicken breasts are 29.99 for 4kg.
Was just at Costco in Burnaby and they did not have any? Was it fresh or frozen for $15.
I was thinking 10-15 @ a time, thx
I'm across the river from Ottawa and Tilapia is also available at Costco. They also have addock, Sole and Salmon.
At Cosco....Tilapia "loins". Thicker.
Costco usually has frozen tilapia, cod and sometimes haddock.
I'm with Felinecougar.... the talapia lions are amazing. Nice and thick. Fresh aren't nearly as good. Both at Costco
I got mine a costco as well, but it was by far the most bland and mushy fish I have ever eaten. I don't know if that is the type of fish it is, healthy or not have never tried it since.
:troll, I think that is what the tilapia fish looks like.
Yup buy mine at Costco
Just needs a good blend of seasoning
TVG
Are these farm raised fish? What are they fed and how do they compare to wild fish?
thriftes has them
As of right now most farm raised tilapia is likely to have a high omega 6 content due to the diet.
here in BC the best and cheapest place to buy FRESH meat is price smart foods. chicken and steak especially. always same price. better then cosco. as for talapia superstore is like 400g for 4 bucks.
in vancouver, 22nd and rupert, chong lee market, best price on seafood, they have live fish in tank, talapila as well, and you can take it home fresh and freeze. and no I am not the owner's son. when i leave there with my shopping bags I feel like i just robbed the place! start the car! start the Car! Lol,
