YOU DO NOT HAVE TO QUALIFY FOR BC'S in 2012 FOR MENS & WOMENS PHYSIQUE FOR 2012 ONLY
thereafter you will need to qualify by placing top 3 at Novice Show
Dawn, since this is a new division it doesn't matter then if someone has competed and won overalls in another division (figure, BB or fitness) in previous years. Is this right?
How about if someone has competed at Nationals in either figure, fitness or BB? Are they still able to compete in Physique in Kelowna?
Would one still hold their overall title and thus lifetime qualification for BCs? Or would they need to relinquish that if moving over to Physique....??
thanks
when you go to compete in another catagory you start all over again
now for 2012 you can go straight to BC's in physique without qualifying cuz it's open
thatz for 2012 only
if you are decide you are gonna compete in physique in 2012 you cannot compete in BBing too
you haveta decide what you are gonna compete in that year and stick with it
but lets say you are an overall in novice bodybuilding which gives you a life time qualification to the BC's
but you wanna compete in physique in 2013
you still gotta start back down at the bottom at a novice show and go back up thru the tier system
even if they were at National level in Figure say
then still gotta start back at bottom in novice show: Kelowna, FSJ or SWFC in 2013
now in 2012 they can go straight to BC's cuz it's open or they can go to Kelowna or FSJ if they want the practice but they don't need it to qualify for 2012 only
hope i made that all clear
any more questions please feel free to ask away
Dawn

Hi Dawn.... does this mean that suits can have stones on them?? Even for BC's or the Kelowna show? For prejudging and finals....??
Thanks
BCABBA is double checking with CBBF President
but....
"It does not say "No rhinestones" so I would assume it is okay in Canada.
Also our Physique rules should be/are supposed to be consistent with NPC rules.
I can clarify with Mark Smishek but not until next week as he is out of the country"
thank you! I can imagine that some things are still "up in the air" until a final decision is made. :-)
UPCOMING POSSIBLE FITNESS CONDITIONING COURSE JAN 2012
with IFBB PRO FITNESS SANDRA WICKHAM
is considering doing her FITNESS routine conditioning course again January 2012
It's an 8 week progressive course to work on
and learn the skills needed for a fitness routine!
It would be once a week for the 8 weeks,
you will do a warm up, then work in a circuit, doing all drills/exercises designed to work on your flexibility and strength for the fitness moves.
We then work on moves together and a few times I've done a mini-routine that we work on together as a group, which is a ton of fun.
It's for seasoned fitness girls (my national level girls come) and also for anyone just thinking about maybe doing fitness,
they can get a chance to try the moves, see how they like it etc.
So if any girls interested in that, see contact info below!
For routine choreography I charge $500
and that includes the choreography, the inital teaching it session (usually 1.5-2hrs)
and two check-in appointments along the way, since we always need to tweak/change/work on the routine as we go along.
contact: Sandra Wickham through her website: http://www.sandrawickhamfitness.com/
FITNESS at BC'S 2012
we're going to open it to anyone who has made it to the BC level before,
regardless of whether their qualification has run out, or if they didn't make it back.
That should get some competitors out of the woodwork and create more excitement with more girls at the BCs.
