I've been working with Praetorian for the past 7 weeks with one more to go and it's been great.
I started off on my own at 248lbs trying to drop some body fat. I think I did this for 4 weeks and I managed to get down to 243lbs, but I new I was just spinning my wheels and I didn't want to do what I've done many times in the past. I had a goal ( an image ) in my head that I wanted to hit. I knew I was going to have to get myself a coach in order to hold me accountable and not fall off track. I search around and came to the conclusion that Prae would be my best choice.
Ted has been great. Very easy to work with and he answers all the questions I had / have in a very timely manner (which to me is the most important thing) so I never had to worry or do any guessing. This was done 100% online via email by sending pictures and updates weekly. Sometimes we would communicate multyiple times a day and sometimes we would go the whole week without any emails - which is fine, because things were going well :)
I was doing great until the start of this week when I had a big crash ( pigged out on junk) I wrote him and we talked about it. He did not make me feel like a piece of garbage for doing what I did he just explained that I needed to change my thought process. He is a very positive guy with a positive outlook on things I would definitely recommend him to anyone that is serious about dropping a few pounds or even adding a few. I myself am not going to be on a bodybuilding stage ( been there , done that, not for me ) so this was more of a recomp diet. Yes I did have a target weight that I wanted to hit , but more so an image I want to see. I was not happy with what I saw in the mirror and now I am :) .
To top it off my strength has stayed the same if not improved ( which was a huge thing for me). As i have managed to hit a 405 x 5 and a 500lb squat ( to depth ) and continue to see strength improvements. I did change my training up a bit to hit some higher reps than normal, but I'm always curious to see what I 1RM is .
Currently I am sitting at 229lbs and leaner than I've ever been - Before and after pictures to come.

Awesome job Talo! And echo your comments about Ted. Simply a fantastic trainer and person who actually cares about his clients personal well being as much as their results.

Congrats on your progress Talo, sometimes all we need is someone to help guide us through the process and take the guess work out of it all.

Thanks.
I agree 100% , Johnny it's more of a mental thing. Doing it myself it's to easy to have more cheat meals than needed. Brining P in makes it so I have someone to hold me accountable. Now I feel I'm not just cheating myself if I were to slip ( and I did ) but I would be cheating him and for some reason that's worst.
