Hey i posted this elsewhere, let's see who's smart!

Okay. So 3 business men go out for lunch at a restaurant.

Their combined bill is $25.

They each pitch in $10, for a total of $30.

The waitress collects the funds, there is $5 owed back to the men, since $5 is too hard to divide by 3 man, they give her a $2 tip and she gives the three men $1 each back.

When they get back to work they must account for the bill to be re-imbursed. Since they each got $1 back and initially each paid $10, they all request $9 back.

$9 x 3 men = $27.

Then there was a $2 tip. $27 + $2 = $29.

Where did that last dollar go?

Used to work in business... had to expense lunches all the time. Those cheap ****s should have just given a $5 tip, then there wouldn't have been a problem. Company pays for it anyway.
