For better or worse,

There are not exceptions.
If you can accept that a bad choice carries the seed of its own punishment,
why not accept the fact that a good choice yields desirable fruit?

cuz the definition of insanity is...
doin something over and over again expecting different results
and when PEOPLE SHOW YOU WHO THEY ARE.... BELIEVE THEM !

KNOW WHEN TO WALK AWAY
AND KNOW WHEN TO RUN LIKE FRIGGIN' HELL !

the greatest freedom we have is...
THE FREEDOM OF CHOICE
and sometimes we gotta take a leap of faith
and sometimes we gotta say "JUST F__k THIS !"
and sometimes you gotta just say ENOUGHS ENOUGH
and i don't know if this is the right choice
but if i don't make a change i'm gonna be locked inside a padded room soon

and it goes too fast not to be as happy as you can
so when things get to the point your sick and tired of being sick and tired

it's better than wallowing in self pity
cuz you're unhappy with the situation
and one thing i've learned in all my years being on this plantet
and that is....
BUT FOR THE GRACE OF GOD THERE GO I
i am truely blessed and always taken care of
so what do i have to lose ?

and what do i have to gain?
a whole new world to be discovered
opportunities i wouldn't have had if i stay in my present situtaion
WHY ARE WE HERE ?
WHY ARE WE ON THIS PLANET?
WE ARE HERE TO LEARN!!!!!!!
and ya can't always stay in your safety zone
in order to grow you gotta step out
so out i go....
stay tuned for some VERY INTERESTING TWISTS TO MY LIFE HAPPENING lol
but good they will be all good i'm sure
i shall keep my face to the sunshine
and the wind on my back
God knows theres more to me than meets the eye
i'm a survivor
i haven't survived almost 47 yrs
crack addiction, alcoholism, too many car wrecks to count, all the hell & insanity i've put myself in and thru
and not be able to handle just about anything
the one thing i have always loved about myself and that is
my true sagittarian optimist spirit
and i know and believe that no matter what i will be ok

and like a wise wise man told me once....
"BELIEVE IN YOURELF, DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE"

this is same for friends, employees, partners, and people in general

RIP my friend Alan Wrinkler: you will be missed
i woke up to a bbm this am from my friend Karolina saying Alan had passed away
i confirmed this on Alan's sisters facebook "Lucie Hall"
Alan and i go back to 1993 when i 1st moved back to Canada
we were good friends, i trained him for his 1st BB show, he is also my neighbour (he lives in the blg beside me)
he was a great guy, super nice, an awesome bber, huge guy
he will be missed
at this point i do not know the details of what happened
i do know this
Alan was probably in his mid to late 30's
and it makes you realize that you have to live your life to it's fullest
because you will never know when your times up
funny thing i just realized
i had put on my baby brother Bruces right yesterday
Bruce died in 1991 at the age of 21 yrs old
I had not worn that ring for a long time, thatz kinda ironic

Your life is finite, your death is guaranteed.
Rather than wait 'til old age before regarding each day as precious
choose to regard each day as precious right now

RIP & happy birthday to my 1st husband Powerlifting Legend Doug Young
3 x World Champ Powerlifter & 3 x World Record Holder in the Bench Press...
Doug died Oct 7th, 2005 ironically on my baby brother Bruces birthday
& Bruce died at age 21 in 1991

i found out my friend Alan Wrinkler died yesterday in his sleep from a heart attack
he was born 1974 so that makes him 37 yrs old
todays a sad day
it makes you realize how precious life is
and how we needta not sweat the small shit
and make the most of what we are given

Doug my 1st husband taught me many things about: LIFTING, LOVE & LIFE
he taught me: BETTER TO LOVED & LOST, THAN NEVER TO HAVE LOVED
I am grateful to have had the time i did with him
he's the one who got me in the Iron Game
he was the 1st person to believe in me
i became a US National Champion Powerlifter my 2nd meet
beating the reigning world champion by 92lbs
and if i get my pro card this year as a bodybuilder i will just be fullfilling what he told me i could do
all that i pass on everyday as a Personal Trainer & a Coach is what he taught me
i miss him still everyday even though i was 1993 when we split

it's been a strange day
i hope these 3 wonderful men rest in peace
Bruce died age 21
Doug died age 61
Alan died age 37
you are all missed

Storm & I cuddled up watchin' movies last nite his 1st nite home from his summer trip....
ahhhhh we missed each other

"The Guardians" 1 of the movies we watched last nite... loved it

and of course it just wouldn't be the same without watching a good DINOSAUR MOVIE
he got at a museum in Wyoming, very educational,
he brought back tons of fossils he found...
wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a Paleontologist

A parent's job is to encourage kids to develop a joy for life
and a great urge to follow their own dreams.
The best we can do is to help them develop a personal set of tools for the task
