I agree at that size and weight you would be a candidate to win nationals. Try an amature show, I was just told that this yer the winston invite will not even have a super heavy class so a 240lb guy would go against 198lb guys.
On a side note, or back to the thread; new vid; blog or vlog. Its long and boring . Yup
Omfg. Had long reply and hit wrong button..
Paul...can't workout together if u atop randoms looking for footage or ask me to film....Jesus. lol
Scott, no disrespect but assomeone that suffered the prep process I can't stand, even friends speculating their stage weight like its some eastask... Granted u even stated. If u could survive prep... I know most people are shocked at what their actual stage weight is... If u indeed around 220... Place forin sure....as Steved said. U will never be big enough in your eyes. None of us are...but if u want to try it out doi... If not don't say.... I wo.t compete unless I'm 265 on stage. That's ridiculous... But if u want to be 300# freak and never compete. Kill that goal then...say no interest 8n
Agreed; Stage weight is hard to predict. I remember being 5 weeks out at 210 and hitting the scale at 190. It all depends on you manipulations prior to getting on stage.
Still, you look like a big boy.. and trust me, the best gains are made in-between shows. Your body gets into a state of shock ‘wow, im so fing lean’ then you start eating like a hoarse and still put on mass but little fat for a good 4 months. I think to get to pro level big you have to compete or reset once a year as if you were to compete. Any ways, don’t worry about looking small, from your avi I can tell your huge. Get up there and have fun, be your best. The first show is for learning, most guys don’t kill the first show. It takes time….
Are you speaking in Morse Code? lol..
Ok guys.. i dont know if i will keep posting these but theres a new video up
Very true words. I was 270 when i started my prep, and pretty hard, i thought 245 on stage for absolute certainty....LOL
i was 223 my first time out and could have gone tighter a bit.
I am going to go again this spring and i should be closer to the 235-240 mark, but again, it is crazy what happens.
So One very well may be 285lbs and 6 feet tall. As i am 6 foot plus as well, and a hard 270 was nothing when i cut up to compete. The fat from intrabody is dramatic, the water is crazy, and a bit of muscle loss will happen.
So yeah, that 285 lbs may very well be about 220 when all is said and done.
No kidding.
Give it a whirl man, even do a mock diet for 12 weeks for fun sometime. Then re evaluate.
No offense intended, but some get offended by the truth anyways...lol
KOBD, you are looking good man, keep up the good fight, you will do well.
