I hope you still have the same phone number... Im gonna send you pics of my bum...
The itch would be ungodly
Hammer for Maude......:beer
ya, hammer for mod.
I think
Ukrainian Guy would be a good mod as he puts a ton of effort into the board, but would he be tough enough? I dunno.
Hammer doesn't put much if any effort into the board, but I'm sure he'd love to be king of the hill. He would use his power as he sees fit.
Freeze would be a good pick as well, hes one of the few that has continually posted throughout the existence of cbb. He also speaks both languages.
There are others as well that I havent mentioned that would fit the bill.
What matters most? The amount of time the individual can devote to the job.
Honestly, Nexus is my home... as much as this seems to be 'the place to be' as far as Canadian BB boards go, this and the other thread have made me draw one conclusion...
People like me just arent welcome here... I am not one of the originals, even though my sign up date shows me being pretty close...
I will be happy reading posts and replying when I have something to say. Unlike many others who feel the need to force their opinion on others, I would rather not be in a position with any sort of power while I am disliked by so many. It would cause nothing but headaches for both sides.
Hammer may do whatever Hammer does as a regular member but he has been a mod before(under MP).....and a good one. there are a lot of peep that contribute towards the AAS/training/diet side of the board and that doesnt mean they would make a good mod. you need to be diplomatic, able to be unbiased and have a sense of humor. take bloodrage for example, he is a douche as a mod(sorry man but you are), but when he is not modding he is a great guy.
there seems to be a lot of personality clashes on this board, i am sure it will all work itself out. blah.
Well you did a good job on nexus as a mod bro....IMO...
I still love you, and i dont care that most of my posts get overlooked and ignored because im ....an ass, or impatient with the lack of knowledge and pride i see displayed on a regular basis on boards nowadays... and im not original member...I can live with that, i also dont want a good rep because i make 95 posts about bullshit every day...
But nexus is my home and even though it isnt as busy as here, i love it..
Youre a good dude hammer, even though you call me names....:hu
I feel love in the room.
I do not know about anyone else but i have always felt welcomed here. A very warm, fuzzy feeling actually... I am not one of the "originals" either. I honestly do not understand this thing between some members of this site and some Nexus folk. Seems like a bunch of children saying my sandbox is better than yours. Myself i do not know everyone who is from Nexus but i do you know some of you and some of you are the coolest ****s i have ever met on any board. In any case, It is my hope that the people who have these "issues" can resolve them through PM and keep the drama off the board.
For those of you who mentioned my name as who they would like for mod, thank you very much, that means a ton to me. At this time though, i do not feel i am ready to mod on a board. I have learned a ton in the last 2.5 years on the boards that i want to share with you all but as far as how boards are run and how to deal with certain issues, i am just not comfortable in those types of situations, at this time.
Thanks for the nod though guys. I will continue to contribute, share and learn with all of you. Oh and i will continue on my quest to rib Mr. O as many times per day as possible.
I think Gus would make a damn good Mod. I remember reading his questions and answers on another board (stood out) when he was an intermediate. Still talks somewhat Textbook if you will, but He's come a long ass way and I personally know he can handle Modding IMHO. Definitely Mod material!!Quote:

Everyone needs to kiss and make up and then come together to make this an even better board.... lol
Your on brotha
somebody needs to bring in the hot chocolate and we can have some spooky gym storys also LMAO
grilled? lol
ya, grilled indeed... lol
Question.....What is the main function of a mod? If it is to delete and ban idiot posters who post up sources and intervene in flame wars? If so, why does BB experience mean anything, whether it be training or supplement use?
A member whether mod or not should contribute what he/she knows. That is what makes this forum work. The forum works because all members contribute. Not because you wait for the holy word of a mod to come and give you a stamp of approval. This is what I have like about this forum as opposed to others.
Oh and I am OK with having a fag mod. SO I am OK with MR.O.
geez i wouldnt go that far! jkQuote:
and there is bigger fags on here then me
Um, because this is a BB board... there are ton of nerds out there- you know... the typical live in your grandma's basement kind of people- who spend their life posting on msg boards... they have oodles of msg board experience... some could probably run circles around MP as far as the use of vbulletin boards go... BUT, I sure as **** wouldnt want some dumbass who has tons of chat room experience deciding whether Mr O should be admonished cuz he flamed Fergie about his stovetop... nor do I want the same shit bird telling me to stop talking about so and so's lab on the board...
Same reason former football players end up doing commentary and/or managing the team... because they know the inner workings better than anyone and have been around through the good and the bad... not only is it smart business, it's a matter of showing respect for those that came before you...
