If I may give an advice! This summer I locked-up 5 times (5-6 weeks lost total). But I keep going, since this fall I often put 10 min of ice after a training that involved my back, especially when I feel there is inflammation. I also touch my back after my training and sometime when I feel one side more inflated then the other, I take Advil (not often) and ice. So far I have not locked up, not even once since this summer!

thanks! will definitely try...I usually gym during work hours, so it should be easy enough for me to pick up a cooling pack, keep it in my fridge at work and after I work out, just throw it on while I sit and work. Can't hurt right? People still noticing my limp in the gym, lol...I honestly thought I was walking normal! I geuss after looking like a total cripple for 7 days, 'feeling' like my posture is back to normal doesn't mean it is!

Alright, lets get straight to the dirty family business LOL! Are you making a statement on CBB.com that you will beat your brother in the overall at Provincials? Anytime I talk to him he's not even mentioning Provincials, all he's talking about is winning at Nationals this year, he just assumes Provincials is a done deal...Haha and yes I love to stir the shit up!

As far as I know, Greg won't be doing nationals this year. I asked him 100 times before making my decision to do provincials this year. His focus seems to be on doing some powerlifting stuff which is near the nationals in terms of timing, and since the focus for him is powerlifting, he doesn't want it to interfere. Part of my decision to focus on provincials also had to do with this fact. I want to be on stage with him at nationals when he does it. If it happened where he won nationals, it would be a cool thing for me to be up on that stage with him when it happened.
I will be in the overall with him at provincials...I can make that statement! Beating him is another story. We have the same genetics, similar shape, and with 5 more years of training and maturity under his belt it's going to be hard to compete with that. My only plan is to come in beyond lean, making my sudbury version of me look fat. If greg even slips up a bit, and the judges are biased towards conditioned , striated glutes, then yes. He will go down in the overall....And 1 thing I can say for sure is that if he doesn't win the overall, the only one in NS that will take him down will be me :)

Here we go again, another Greg vs Steve discussion.
I think I can beat both of them!!! lol
Love this competitive talk!
