like they say ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY...

without paying the price necessary for it?
think about it.... )
The price of success is hard work,
dedication to the job at hand,
and the determination that whether we win or lose,
we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand. .
We all have dreams.
But in order to make dreams come into reality,
it takes an awful lot of determination,
dedication, self-discipline, and effort.

at CANADIAN BODYBUILDING NATIONALS
in Edmonton, Alberta
I WON:
- GRANDMASTERS WOMENS BODYBUILDING
- WON MASTERS OVERALL
-EARNED MY PRO CARD
- WON MY HEAVYWEIGHT CLASS
- WON OPEN OVERALL
- EARNED MY 2ND PRO CARD OF THE DAY
what a glorious day that was
pursing this dream of over 32 yrs
at 19 yrs old I was given a dream to become an IFBB PRO BODYBUILDER
it took me 21 attempts to realize my dream
1999 was my 1st attempt that was my 1st Nationals and it was in EDMONTON
I came back after having my son in 2008 to Nationals
then had 2 kicks at the can as I did both Masters & Open at Nationals
and twice did the North Americans for a total of 5 chances at a pro card
DREAM FULLFILLED after 34 yrs of its inception...
i overcame so many obstacles in life but through it all...
drug addiction in the end was crack cocaine cleaned up in 1986,
9 major surgeries, 2 divorces, having a child and oh so much more
I NEVER LOST SIGHT OF MY DREAM of being an IFBB PRO BODYBUILDER.
My 1st husband Powerlifting Legend Doug Young from TEXAS believed in 19 yr old Arabian Horse Trainer from Canada
and took her under his wing and not only taught her everything he knew about lifting.
But taught her to believe in herself.
He changed the course of my life and i am who i am because of him.
RIP Doug but thank you for the greatest gift to believe in myself.
This i pass on freely to anyone wanting my help...
so grateful words cannot express.
