“The Tao Te Ching says,
when I let go of what I am,
I become what I might be.
When I let go of what I have,
I receive what I need. Have you ever struggled to find work or love,
only to find them after you have given up?
This is the paradox of letting go.
Let go, in order to achieve.
Letting go is God’s law.”

Remember only God can shape a flower,
but any foolish child can pull it to pieces.
Never allow anyone to rain on your parade
and thus cast a pall of gloom and defeat on the entire day.
Remember that no talent, no self-denial, no brains, no character,
are required to set up in the fault-finding business.
Nothing external can have any power over you unless you permit it.
Your time is too precious to be sacrificed in wasted days combating the menial forces of hate, jealously, and envy.
Guard your fragile life carefully.

“Some of you say, “Joy is greater than sorrow,”
and others say, “Nay, sorrow is the greater.”
But I say unto you, they are inseparable.
Together they come,
and when one sits alone with you at your board,
remember that the other is asleep upon your bed.”
“And a woman spoke, saying, "Tell us of Pain."
And he said: Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding.
Even as the stone of the fruit must break
, that its heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain.
And could you keep your heart in wonder at the daily miracles of your life,
your pain would not seem less wondrous than your joy;
And you would accept the seasons of your heart,
even as you have always accepted the seasons that pass over your fields.
And you would watch with serenity through the winters of your grief.
Much of your pain is self-chosen.
It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self.
Therefore trust the physician,
and drink his remedy in silence and tranquillity:
For his hand, though heavy and hard,
is guided by the tender hand of the Unseen,
And the cup he brings,
though it burn your lips,
has been fashioned of the clay which the Potter has moistened with His own sacred tears.”

A smooth sea never made a skilled mariner.
If you can conquer your negative thoughts
and replace them with positive thoughts,
this is a living proof that you have mastered the art of
thriving through all negative circumstances in life.
Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life
as by the obstacles which he has overcome.

In all human affairs there are efforts,
and there are results,
and the strength of effort
is the measure of the results.
Every failure, obstacle or hardship is an opportunity in disguise.
Success in many cases is failure turned inside out.
The greatest pollution problem we face today is negativity.
Eliminate the negative attitude and believe you can do anything.
Replace 'if I can, I hope, maybe' with 'I can, I will, I must.'

The galleries are full of critics.
They play no ball, they fight no fights.
They make no mistakes because they attempt nothing.
Down in the arena are the doers.
They make mistakes because they try many things.
The man who makes no mistakes lacks boldness and the spirit of adventure.
He is the one who never tries anything.
His is the brake on the wheel of progress.
And yet it cannot be truly said he makes no mistakes,
because his biggest mistake is the very fact that he tries nothing,
does nothing,
except criticize those who do things.

Far better it is to dare mighty things,
to win glorious triumphs,
even though checkered by failure,
than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer too much,
because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

Kindness is never wasted.
If it has no effect on the recipient,
at least it benefits the bestower.
Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries.
Without them humanity cannot survive.
No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.

Hi Dawn. I'm asking this question on behalf of a female friend. She is a first time user of Var. I'll just paste what she wrote on another board:
"I recently started a cycle with Anavar (10 mg to start then reduced to 5mg after 3 weeks) and had quite dramatic water retention. I have a very clean diet, prepare my own food, do not drink and only dine out occasionally so no excess sodium. I train hard on a 4 day split and do 2 HIIT sessions a week. Consume 4 litres of water/day on average. I stopped the Var after 5 weeks as I was so uncomfortable. 8 weeks later I've decided to try again (starting with 2.5 mg..I'm not kidding lol). After 8 days I'm experiencing the same bloating. Anyone have experience with estrogen inhibitors in regards to water retention? I am 53 years old (a very fit 53) and only menstruate about 4 times a year now. I have never experienced any of the usual menopause symptoms. Thanks for any help."

A man with a half volition goes backwards and forwards,
and makes no way on the smoothest road;
a man with a whole volition advances on the roughest,
and will reach his purpose,
if there be even a little worthiness in it.
The man without a purpose is like a ship without a rudder
a waif, a nothing, a no man.
Have a purpose in life and having it,
throw such strength of mind
and muscle into your work as God has given you.
