Watch out for the insulin buzz! lol

Dieting is good to know your insulin sensitivity levels, personally I'm 'detoxicated' of carbs, I do not have those crave anymore. Also I cannot eat a huge carbs meal like that anymore, I can eat a few pancakes (without wheat) and a bit of brown sugar on it, but not that much. If I go overboard I'm feeling sick/crappy after... in fact, just a few cookies or 1 pancake is enough to satisfy me here and there. My cheat meal is often as simple as going to a viet restaurant and eating the rice that is in my plate along with the meat and vegetable. I feel so much better without the huge amounts of carbs the North Americans are usually eating.

Shouldn't u not be craving at all? The thing I don't like about keto is ur whole life revolves around the 'cheat meak' it becomes an obsession all week and can get super out of control. Ill be impressed if you can limit it to just the pancakes
Following a keto diet is easier then carb cycling or just low carb...its simple physiology. The "cheat" meal gets an unfair rap mainly because most do not understand its purpose. Limiting to the one cheat meal is also easy if you make a decision to. People are not successful in dieting or in other aspects of life because they choose not to be....its that simple.

My cheat was a great success. A huge stack of pancakes with syrup and I washed that down with a slice of pumpkin pie. I took 5 enzyme caps with that meal and all my vitamins in hopes of maximum digestion.
I felt pretty sick for a few hours but fine later on. Gonna have a way better workout today with all those stores topped up.
Personally I'm not craving, or rarely. In fact, when it's my cheat meal time, often I don't feel like eating it. I prefer to wait when I see it fit and it's mostly moderated. Only the first few weeks of my 'carb detox' I was craving for that plate of cookies or pancakes.

Im still having some pretty fierce cravings every single day. Its not so much sweet lately as it is doritos lol. This is part of the reason I paid for the services of a pro. The accountability factor has a huge hand in me not eating the bullshit things I think about constantly. I have discipline, but I have much better discipline when I pay for it.

2.5 wks in. I am definitely losing a bunch of fat now. My training has improved slightly but its still rather haphazard in terms of what I am able to do and how heavy I can go depending on my pain level that day.
I really like the HIIT sprints Im doing at the beginning of my cardio then I just walk uphill for the remainder of it to cool down and keep my heart rate up.
I want to add in some green coffee bean extract or hoodia or something because my cravings are getting out of control. I am hungry all the time it seems and it is rather distracting, especially at work.
Is this what happens when legit dieting? Constant hunger and cravings for everything but what youre eating?
