Try to find a less popular show. The juiced guys go for the big high exposure shows or the ones where they hand out prize $$$. I should compete again too. Just hard to justify the time commitment.

i havent ruled out the Mens fitness model too...Lol
I would feel very queer but itd be something to diet for atleast.
i attended the WBFF last year in vancouver and some of the fitness guys could have blown away the bodybuilders
Fixed that last sentence for you. Sorry, couldn't help myself... ha ha ha
I was actually joking with my training partner that we should start competing in the fitness events then we wouldn't have to kill ourselves training legs anymore since they get to compete wearing shorts. :ne
For those of you who know for sure.
I have investigated the US shows in Washington State, there are several around the time period early summer when i want to compete in the INBF and NANBF organizations.
However, most are 5 years clean and are polygraphed. I haved used ephedrine and clen in the last 5 years, but not in the last 2 years. I think its a shame i wouldnt be able to participate due to this fact. Do they polygraph the 5 years question when you are tested? I do understand why they have the 5 year rule, they dont want guys juicing away and then just going off for one year and competing in a natural federation, at the same time, i think its really too bad that my use of ephedrine and clen 3.5 years ago rules me out....thoughts?
k never mind INBF does 2 years only.
They want you to be off all substances from the WADA list for 5 years. If you are nervous you will fail the polygraph.
The IDFA and INBF are fairly different when it comes to testing methods. I've heard similar stories about the IDFA "piece of paper" and agree that's a joke. Being hooked up to a polygraph machine and tested by a trained professional at the end of an 18-week diet is not.
Do some enhanced competitors get by? Maybe, but I think a lot of stories out there about cheaters who don't get caught are created or passed around by competitors to feel better about themselves or their placing.
I have never heard of anyone actaully using the polygraph test. I think it would be interesting to be hooked up to one though instead of doing the piece of paper. I think many organizations to not use the traditional poly because of the price of doing the test itself. The same goes for blood work. It would be nice if everyone had to do a test of some sort but then the fees would go up even more then they are already.
I am curious what they do this year for the OPA as I am going to be competing in that stream this year. I will keep you posted as to the testing methods they use unless anyone knows????

I've done the poly a couple of times and it's a bit un-nerving. Even when you know you're clean it's a stressful thing, always a bit uncomfortable.
