i love the jays, but i agree. they will finish ahead of the O's and maybe ahead of the rays, depending on if vw can stay healthy and lind and hill are at their best. but we will see.

Jays will fill the bottom with the O's.
1.New York Yankees -
2.Boston Red Sox -
3.Tampa Bay Rays -
4.Baltimore Orioles -
5.Toronto Blue Jays-
I agree 100% with this article: http://www.mlbpredictions.org/american-league/east/
I see the TBRays as the wild card this year. Basically same exact team as last year except with another year of experience tacked on. Pitching, so long as it stays healthy will be phenomenal :Price, Shields, Soriano, Garza,Jeff Niemann
Offense will be solid:longoria, zobrist, pena, bartlett, crawford, (upton potential to bounce back from a shitty year in 2009)
Well , I'm going to say that the Jays will come second in their division. Either above the Yank's or Sox .
OPENING DAY
Well a lot of things went right today and look promising for the Jays despite a loss
giving up the lead in the Bottom of the 9th.
In my opinion Jason FRASOR is not a closer. You need a flamethrower 98-100mph or someone with that one devestating pitch Ex. Rivera (cutter) , Hoffman (Change up).
Frasor would be a good 7-8th inning set up man to face righties...thats it. They need a legit closer.
Missed the game , caught the highlights.
I agree 100% with UBC . Frasor needs to work on somethings or they need to get someone. Give them this month to get things figured out .
Glad to see Marcum back and stronger than ever.
I'm not sure what Accardo did in the spring, but I have always liked his stuff as a potential closer. I don't think Frasor or Gregg are the long term solutions...
Marcum pitched amazing yesterday - got REALLY unlucky on that HR. It was a great pitch in a great spot, but unfortunately it ended up in the seats somehow. :(
If Wells can stay healthy it could be his year.
4 HR's and 7 RBI's in 3 games.
Can't wait to see what shit they bring this year.
Terrible Terrible.... this time of the year a little part of me looks forward to the possible 'big year' for the jays or the mariners (close by to vancouver)..but they both always dissapoint
