The bodybuilding side was pretty weak last year. MABBA makes all their money off the Figure girls so they don't give a shit about the bodybuilders anymore.
Plus, this year they have added a "bikini class" in to get even more twits on stage!

Danny looked real good... clearly would have won overall... no matter why he did the show, he added a bit of what people want to see... and (though it might have been intimidating for some of the jr guys) he gave them something to aspire to!
If you haven't done a provincial show in 3 years, you have to go back to Novice! (my understanding) before you can do Provincials.
there might be a few more of those guys showing up this year...
Plus having danny there was cool... he's the only one with more Ink than me! LOL
Bikini is going to be a GONG SHOW... every 20 year old with an Ed Hardy knockoff bikini whose boyfreind things she has a tight ass will be doing her best stripper walk trying to look "fit". AND taking up space backstage... AND drinking water... asking stupid questions, like if they look better after "pumping up" with a ****en elastic band for 2 minutes... uurrgghhh
My friend is bodybuilder, she's doing provincials... we plan on finding a changeroom and LOCKING the door!

definitely wish I was doing this, but there is next year to be a junior.
I went and frankly I'm feeling a bit disappointed in the seminar.
The presenters weren't actually willing to present the mandatories but instead told a bunch of novices to have at it without the aid of a mirror and with little to no coaching.
I don't feel like I got my $20 bucks worth. I would have been far better off taking 2 hours and watching perfect posing on youtube.
There were a couple of decent tips but nothing we should have had to pay for, i.e. telling the novices what to expect at the show.
I hope the women got more out of it than I.
BITCH!!! why didn't you say hi to me... I saw NOBODY there who looked like you in your picture!! (avatar) ;)
I got alot out of it.. like seeing where my competition is at with thier prep and seeing how hard my gals have to work compared to other competitors!! lol... actually, I got some good feedback and a few tips to tweak the posing...
T.. Im not sure why Tom was running the clinic.. Tony Ayre was supposed to be doing it... and he actually can pose... they should have even thought about bringing in Derrin Mehling, he's a great poser too.. or my Leigh 3 best posers awards cant be wrong...
Working with Janie Kieth was really awesome... got a gew tops on back pose and how to pop my legs better.
What I noticed is that while the young boys look good from the waist up they've got no legs. I think I should have spent more time looking at the girls.
I got my tickets friday. I cant wait for it. Me and buddy are hardcore meathead fans. Plus, hot women frequent these shows!
