I guess I'm in the mood to critique people with a better physique. One of the biggest differences I noticed between Fouad and some of the other pros is his lower lats. Upper portion of his lats are great, but his lats lack thickness near the bottom.
Depends on what an athlete's training style is and circumstances.
Most bbers stick to high reps and rarely go heavy so if they switch it up they can see good results quick.
Also happens when many athletes are overtraining/under recovering and then cut back on the volume. Probably didn't happen in this case but it is entirely possible.
depends upon the environment where you started your prep....if you were depleted, and off hormones, and crappy diet, you will gain...no doubt about it....any other belief is nieve at best....ask several real BBs, they will tell you the same...kevin levrone etc...just common sense basically...
tough part is making common sense common practice it seems sometimes...
filling out old muscle and gaining new muscle while in a caloric deficit is completely different. I am not sure how you think it is but if you seriously think you can gain new muscle on your frame while eating below maintenance calories then you need a reality check.
My weight while dieting hasn't really changed in the past 3 weeks (and has actually gone up a little) of dieting... are you saying that I am gaining new muscle? NOT possible. I am not dumb even to go around telling others that I am gaining new muscle while dieting. Talk about a muscle-tech ad...
While Fouad can certainly bring his legs up, it's likely that his lower lats will always less than that of a Kai Greene. He can make them thicker and bigger but low lat attachments that start at your ass like bat wings are pretty much a genetic trait.
Saw Fouad's DVD and it was incredible. Just an intense and determined athlete. He will get better every year, and think he can crack top 10 at the O in 2-3 years.
