That is simply not true.
We can do anything we want
If we don't do something,
it is because we have committed our time, energy and resources somewhere else.
We must all suffer one of two things:
the pain of discipline
or the pain of regret...
ASK YOURSELF...
"will this take me closer to or further from, MY GOAL ?"

There is no try.
Don't let the fear of the time
it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it.
The time will pass anyway;
we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use.

A commitment without a goal
is like a trip without a map:
odds are you won’t get where you want to be.
For every disciplined effort there is a multiple reward.
I define self-control, in the beginning of life,
as the choice of achieving what I really want by doing things I really don't want to do.
Once this becomes a habit,
discipline becomes the choice of achieving what I really want
by doing the very things I now want to do!
I really believe that a disciplined life becomes a joy
but only after we have worked hard to practice it.

and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
Give everyone a smile.
Spend so much time improving yourself
that you have no time left to criticize others.

For better or worse,

There are not exceptions.
If you can accept that a bad choice carries the seed of its own punishment,
why not accept the fact that a good choice yields desirable fruit?
Destiny is not a matter of chance,
it is a matter of choice.
It is not a thing to be waited for;
it is a thing to be achieved.
