THIS IS AWESOME from my facebook yesterday i really want all you to read this
: this is not the 1st time this guy has echo'd EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS AND WHAT I SAY....
so nice to find a like mind...
READ UP PEOPLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!
love what he says about "so-called metabolic damage" as well...
totally echo's my thought train... a
nd had a big conversation with my ROLFER/MASSAGE THERAPIST
very knowledgeable Vernon Marshall yesterday while on his table lol
Dawn Alison shared Lean Bodies Consulting's status. POST:
I don’t care how hard you train,
I don’t care how many metabolic workouts you do,
or how much cardio you do,
if you can’t nail your diet week in and week out,
you’re short changing yourself of results.
You’re working hard in the gym for sub-optimal,
or in some cases, NO, results.
Want great results?
Stick to your nutrition plan, consistently.
Week in and week out.
One meal at a time.
A simple thing to remember –
extraordinary results requires extraordinary efforts.
There’s little that annoys me more as a diet coach
than someone who whines and complains about lackluster results …
and then says, something like,
“My diet is pretty good, I’m making better choices. Just a few cheats.”
Or maybe the person is telling me that they’re bang on with their diet,
except for the little nibbles and small extras here and there.
What? That’s not bang on in my book. That’s extra.
I don’t care how small it is, when ‘small’ is repeated often, it’s no longer small.
Everything counts, big cheats, little cheats, additional this or that, nibbles, it all adds up.
Now, hey, that’s all perfectly fine, it’s your choice.
It’s fine to fall short of optimal compliance …
if you’re willing to accept the results of those choices.
If you’re not?
Then stop cheating, nibbling or whatever it is that you’re doing that’s off plan.
Great results are on the other side waiting for you.
It is ALWAYS going to come back to nutritional compliance, always.
Look there first if you want more.

THEN TEAM FIT BODY'S SHERRI TAPPERT POST THIS BEAUTY:
Sherri Kosciuk-Tappert
Thanks Dawn Alison for Never telling me what I wanted to hear.
Your Tough Love (and always telling me the truth whether I liked it or not)
is what got me to my goal & onto that stage. LOVE YOU TO BITS xo ♥
Tough coaching is sometimes required.
Effective coaches should tell their athletes/clients what they NEED to hear,
which is not always the same as what they might WANT to hear
but it's always done so one, with the client's best interests in mind
and two, because the coach knows the client has more potential than they're demonstrating.
They don't coddle, or enable, they challenge and they expect.
I was happy to read this feedback in a biweekly today
which references my biweekly response to her last biweekly,
where I was in fact ... tough. I appreciate her honesty here.
Biweekly:
"Well, to be honest your feedback from last biweekly initially pissed me the heck off.
My first thought was who in the $&*% does he think he is, blah blah blah,
then I remembered all your posts about taking the emotions out and go on the facts.
Guess what?
You were absolutely correct.
I became lax and thought cheating and deviations didn't matter and my body was telling me it did,
I just didn't want to listen.
I mean truth be told you already have my money
you could have not cared and continued to let me be a knucklehead,
but you told me the truth and gave me the kick in the ass I needed.
You don't sugarcoat;
you told me the truth and it was up to ME to determine if I was going to get back on track and make the change.
I appreciate it so much and it really solidified the type of person you are.
Thanks "

Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.
What you get by achieving your goals
is not as important as
what you become by achieving your goals.
Go confidently
In the direction of your Dreams.
Live the life
you've imagined!

“Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”
“Whatever course you decide upon,

There are always difficulties arising which

Never apologize for showing feeling.
When you do so,
you apologize for the truth.
Never allow anyone to define you!
Just be you!
Originality is…
a by-product of sincerity.
Shine bright,
be yourself.

Life is a struggle.
Life will through curveballs at you,
it will humble you,
it will attempt to break you down.
And just when you think things are starting to look up,
life will smack you back down with ruthless indifference
The reason most people never achieve their dreams is
because they simply give up.
Life was never meant to be easy –
its a constant struggle,
with extreme lows and extreme highs.
Remember that the times when its most important to persevere are
the times that you will be most tested.
Never give up on something tha
you can’t go a day without thinking about
just do it

Don’t let the fear of the time it will take
to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it.
The time will pass anyway;
we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use.
A winner is someone who gets up
one more time than he is knocked down.
Winners never quit,
and quitters never win.

Be ready when opportunity comes...
Luck is the time when preparation and opportunity meet.
To be prepared is half the victory.
'Champions aren't made in the gyms.
Champions are made from something they have deep inside them
a desire, a dream, a vision.'
Regardless of how you feel inside
, always try to look like a winner.
Even if you are behind,
a sustained look of control and confidence
can give you a mental edge that results in victory.
whether you think you can
or you can't
you are right !
There are only two options regarding commitment.
You're either IN or you're OUT.
There is no such thing as life in-between.
Pain is temporary.
It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year,
but eventually it will subside
and something else will take its place.
If I quit, however, it lasts forever.
You can become a winner only if
you are willing to walk over the edge.
Yesterday I dared to struggle.
Today I dare to win.

pt of THE BC CHAMPIONSHIPS 2013 day
BEING HAPPY & HAVING FUN IS A CHOICE
“It is our choices,
that show what we truly are,
far more than our abilities.”
“Keep your thoughts positive because
your thoughts become your words.
Keep your words positive because
your words become your behavior.
Keep your behavior positive because
your behavior becomes your habits.
Keep your habits positive because
your habits become your values.
Keep your values positive because
your values become your destiny.”
“True happiness is to enjoy the present,
without anxious dependence upon the future,
not to amuse ourselves with either hopes or fears
but to rest satisfied with what we have,
which is sufficient,
for he that is so wants nothing.
The greatest blessings of mankind are within us
and within our reach.
A wise man is content with his lot,
whatever it may be,
without wishing for what he has not.”
