Melanotan II

1. Melanotan is not scheduled under the Food and Drug Act.

Does this mean it's legal. It's not explicitly illegal under the act but as an unscheduled drug is it illegal.?..

Newfoundland Provincial Statute..
(d) Unscheduled drugs can be sold without professional supervision if adequate information is available for the patient to make a safe and effective choice and labelling is considered sufficient to insure the appropriate use of the drug and drugs not included in Schedules I, II or III and may be sold from any retail outlet.

There seems to be a whole bunch of detail around labelling, distribution, manufacture in the act that would take a lawyer to figure out in terms of selling the unscheduled drug.

I'm guessing it would be very easy to breach one of the acts clauses without a lawyer who knew the act well
