I am considering this Prae.Threes seem a little easier to recover from.Thinking wraps and a few sets somewhat above parallel.Some deep step ups.Any thoughts on this Prae?

If you want better recovery you should be box squatting not regular squatting. West side guys dont regular squat until a meet.

Have you ever done any twisting squats Prae?Big with football linemen apparently?
I do whatever workout keeps me motivated.Going to be 60 this year.
No slight hinge coming off the box whatsoever,correct?
Twisting squats may assist slightly with balance but for bodybuilding or strength IMO quite inefficient. If your goal is strength pick highly effective and efficient strength exercises. The same can be said for bodybuilding, football, hockey etc The end goal should be what determines how and why you do certain exercises. When i train i have roughly 2 hours in the gym and i make absolute value of that time by choosing the most effective and efficient exercises for my goal...to build muscle. Others may have a different goal ie strength so they should make different choices.
Box squats are great but there are a wide variety that can be used. Wide, narrow, low higher etc If they are too high you wont feel the same response as regular squats..however you have to decide what your end goal is and design the program for that.
