Nice job dude. Your presentation came out even better than the stills. What piece of music was it ?
Thanks man. Not bad posing for rank amateur with zero practice. Other than my daily mandatory pic updates to coach. Lol
Clint mansell....requiem for a dream. Lord of rings sound track
Great job Phat. Man the crowd didn't shut the **** up in the beginning, or is it just the audio from the recorder?
And this lack of practice shows greatly in your lack of transitions. I'll give you credit in that you hit your poses well for the most part, but (and this is meant for all competitors) you are out there to entertain the audience and sure you aren't getting scored on your posing like we did back in the day but that doesn't mean you can't perform a more entertaining routine. So I suggest you look to some of the great posers in the sport current or past like Labrada, Corney, Wolf etc. and hell even watch how some of the FBBs pose as the gals generally put far more effort into their presentation and this makes it entertaining for the audience. Pay close attention to how they flow from pose to pose and learn to adopt this and you'll have an audience eating out of your hand.
Thankfully though you didn't just walk from one side of the stage to the other hitting most muscular's like some morons do...and ya this includes a number of pro's as well..... So although for a first routine you did ok from here on out you need to put more effort into your posing routines.
Ya... I had full intentions on putting on a great routine... But I was wiped. Unlike other.competitors with no.responsibilities... I worded 60 hr every other week. Goin thru a divorce... Have 50/50 custody of .4 yr old the., as you know. All the cardio. Food.prep. all the while trying.to squeeze time in for a neglected.gf... Coles.notes. it was brutal. And at end.of day, I was simply wiped.... And or had to talk.on phone.to.said gf as I didn't see her that day...lol. bed at midnight....up at 4am... Gets exhausting.on 25 carbs.
Oh well,.still fun AMD quite.the experience... If there is a next.time..ill.rock.that shit...hhaha. and be bigger....
Sexy :)
I hear you on being wiped. I usually wait until the last few days to think about my routine. It usually ends with me saying: I plan 2 poses, and wing the rest. Generally people always say my routines are pretty good, but I think I practice transitions in general. I mean, we all pose probably everytime we see a mirror throughout prep. I guess that helps. I do however know that when I do have extra time to perfect a routine, it shows. Yes, my winged routines are so-so, but a planned routine will show - the judges will see that, you're score won't change, but they'll remember you. In a subjective sport, you want judges to remember you (for next time). Any advantage helps. And if you are known as the guy that is an awesome poser, they will be looking at you the next time they see you.
