Drake
From the bits and pieces I`ve heard, we have a new generation of crappyness among us. The latest one, Drake who thinks he can rap is just more proof of how you don`t need talent to succeed in the music business. This guy was on degrassi for **** sakes, he comes from a regular stable family, he`s not a gangbanger. What`s he supposed to rap about? What the hell did he go through? Does he have lower back problems from sitting in that wheelchair he used to sit in on the set of Degrassi? Plus the annoying distorted microphone he uses to cover his lack of talent (most of his words don`t even rhyme) is just solid proof how dumb the kids are to listen to this shit. More music for the clueless... Enjoy losers.

LMAO, I enjoy rap. but i have to agree I dont really like any of drakes tracks.
and since hes with young money records hes on every ****ing chorus.
-
I`m telling you he has no talent. He just talks, good rappers have flow, something unique about them... This guy is just some tool that`s being given a big push by the media as he must have the right contacts for this to be taking place. Pathetic.
But the worst is the big time names he has on board with him. What the hell are they thinking? Do they just want their names out as much as possible no matter what? And why can`t, just for once, a rapper make an album without the appearance of 5 other big names? I know why...

Agreed. The real shit is still out there tho. Its just not on the radio so these idiots cant find it. Atmosphere, cunninglynguists, brother ali etc.
R.I.P. Guru.

I agree. Stick to acting on shitty canadian teenie melodrama's.
such a ****ing joke. hip hop died like 10 years ago.
Chingy was the last nail in the coffin.

I`m out of touch now when it comes to hip hop, I`m glad infamous responded here. I looked up Amosphere on Youtube. First song I listened to is Guarantee. Now that`s what it`s about... These guys seem to have something to say. Right now I`m listening to "trying to find a balance". Good shit there infamous. National Disgrace is a sweet track here. Take note Drake, this is what hip hop is about, go back to drawing pics for your mom to put on the fridge...
Anymore recommendations here infamous? You may win me back to hip hop with music like this. Green sent your way bro!

you might like dead prez, I like the the aggressive rap with a good beat, for example young jeezy.

We don't agree all that often Ritch, but this is assuredly one of those times. Nothing frustrates me more than the state of elements of the music industry...

I'm so glad to see there are other sane people in the world. It frustrates me how a kid with no talent whatsoever can be become one of the biggest rap stars in such a period of time. I mean this kid was on Degrassi one day and a World-wide known rapstar the next, I don't know whose dick he's been sucking to get in the rap industry but this guy has no business singing or writing any kind of music. It's all about connections in his case and his record label distributor did an insane job at promoting him. I mean this kid became a superstar in a few month's time. I don't even listen to mainstream rap music made in the last 10 years are so, it's sad to see what most of the music industry has become.

Zombies are real, people! They're the ones that believe what they're being sold. It's why ass nuggets like this become successful.
Another problem is the Candian music industry itself. They promote Canadian 'talent' even if the talent isn't there.
