View Full Version : Canadian Supplement Store

Around my area, there are a few spots with decent sized gyms that have no supplement stores around them.
I was thinking of trying my hand at a physical location close by to them. Online seems too saturated with supplements stores so I figure the only way I can actually make money is on the street as I don't have the know how to do it online.
Now my question is, how can one go about starting this? I'd like to see how much it would cost me for start up and how much products would cost me to buy and potential for profit. I'm just crunching numbers right now.
Again, please don't ask me if I'll open an online store and what my prices will be as I don't want to touch the net. I just want a physical location only.
I just need help in finding the right people or them finding me to get some number crunching done and see if I can do this or just erase this thought from my head.
Help please?

What is your website going to be? How much are going to charge on the web?
LOL
I would start by selling out of you trunk to your buddies. Work up from there. With low overhead like that you should be able to beat anyone's prices.

How do I get some supplements? Do I contact the company itself? Like pvl, bsn, allmax, optimum nutrition, etc?? Or do these companies use distributors? How do I find them?
That's probably the most important question I have now. Pricing seems to be the key thing to see if it's worth doing.

Time to do some research my friend. Most companies have a Canadian partner that distributes there product lines across the country.

naw man, i dunno if your willing to go to bodybuilding.com and make an order or not...but ive ordered in bulk from a quite a few different sites before and they usually always seeem to even out in price after shipping and all that shit. discountanibolics.com is good too. also try like costco or somthing

This is a tough business to make money in. In the end your profit will be very small and am not sure it will be worth your time.

You have to contact the companys tell them your company name what products you want to carry how much and so on. Plus I believe you need a sellers or resellers license I cant remember too be honest. I was looking into this also for when I start up my own gym a few years down the road.
