For those on trt for life. How do you end your cycles? Do you taper down the doses and continue trt?

That's an important question for me, too — that is, if I can talk myself into quitting this 16 weeks cycle with a few mgs left in each bottle of Test & Tren. I was thinking just basically stop, maybe after a week do a few days of Test prop just for the last kick, then after a third week off the cycle, just go back to HRT (continuing GH & HCG, of course:))

Why not keep going until it all gone?

I have had some serious head issues after my last cycle. I normally only do Test but decided to add some Deca and Var into the mix for 10 weeks. I have needed to keep the test high to keep my head balanced. I am anxiety prone. I will by tapering down to a TRT dose over the next couple weeks.

Once I end my cycle I just continue with hrt dose, I run 500mcg hcg twice weekly and take 50mg of dhea as well.

I finished my PCT a couple weeks ago and I am ****ing depressed, thinking about going on trt, at 41 y/o why not. I wonder if my Doc will go for it?

You just talked me into it. And here I thought my mind was made up, you silver-tongued devil, you.

41 is pretty young, BC, unless you naturally need it. Just hang on, get your bloodwork done every four weeks, and see if you return to normal or not. If not, well then you need help. I did not begin TRT until this year and, as you know, I'm 59 (and my between cycles struggles to get my Test levels up had become Herculean).

I plan to end my cycle around the end of this month or when ever I am out. I will return to my low TRT 200mg/month dose, and then I believe I go for retesting end of Oct. Once I get my script refilled I will start another cycle.

So you don't feel the need to stay off (on TRT/HRT) for the same number of months you were on?

This is all new to me, but I have been planning on doing a regular 10-12 week January cycle and a 16 week June cycle, just as I have been doing before HRT. Perhaps there's no need, but I don't want to wear out the old locomotive before its time. (Besides, HRT plus GH & HCG can't be too bad; I bet I'll retain most of my gains!)

You need to look at your TRT as your natural test production. The boys aren't doing the job any more so that is why your on the TRT. The reason for the PCT and the off time is to allow your natural test production to start up again. I our case this isn't going to happen. The only thing you need to watch is the orals and insure you take a break to allow your liver to recover. Because your on TRT you will get the added benefit of blood test for prostate and cholesterol levels. You are going to be on a cycle now until you decide you don't want to do it anymore, it the dose the varies.
