I was dating this girl for about 4 years. She is pretty and skinny etc. Always played soccer and was active. Anyways, I had moved from where I live normally an hour away to do a coop for 8 months. I thought everything was fine between her and I and I was even considering asking her if she wanted to get a place with me when I was done my coop. Anyways, I came home every weekend to see my friends and her. She also drove up sometimes during the week to see me. Anyways, one night the **** actually calls me and tells me she thinks she needs space from me etc. obviously I am a ****ing mess not seeing this coming at all and I had ZERO friends where I had moved for this coop it literally messed me up. About two weeks after the phone call her and I get together (Day after valentines day) and she flat out breaks up with me. I obviously broke down crying etc. While she sat there (with sunglasses on) saying I am so happy now I cant believe how happy I am now etc. All my friends tell me how much happier I seem etc. hahahaha! Anyways, a its been about 5 months now we have sent back and forth some txt msgs through the 5 months seeing how eachother are! We say the same bs each time "doing good" and whatever (I am actually doing really good! I have never been in this kind of shape before nor have I ever got this kind of attention from girls at bars and stuff)...Her and I have never ran into one another since we broke up and I am glad because I really dont want to see her. So one of my friends still has her on facebook and he showed me a new picture of her and WOW her face is actually FAT now she has a double chin! This tells me that she is actually really depressed there is no way a girl like her puts on 15-20 pounds of fat in 4-5 month period and says they are happy. So I was showing / telling my mom how seeing her like that made me feel good about myself. Would you guys/girls feel the same or am I a complete asshole?
