Nice work bro, you cook the Salmon on is that a Cedar plank? Whats it do it make it taste different?

The smoke from the cedar plank slightly flavors the salmon making it taste better. It also takes away the fishy taste from the salmon abit. You should defiantly try it out. The smoke flavor is not that intense. Make sure you follow the directions on the plank package (ie soaking it in water for 4 hours which will make sure it does not catch fire right away) also have a spray water bottle on hand so if there is a fire you can squirt it out haha.

mmmmmm bbq shrimp, and yea the cedar plank is very nice for grilling.

I am not sure my sister made some marinade that she saw on the food network or something...it was decent. I will ask her for the recipe if you want?

we cedar plank all our fish, it's an awesome taste. We bought the first plank but the price is stupid, so we went to a sawmill on Manitoulin Island while we were deer hunting and bought several 1x8 lengths of cedar and cut to suit!
