WPFG 2009 in Vancouver

The World Police and Fire Games are in Vancouver this year. They are in a different country every 2nd year, next one is New York 2011, 10 years since 911 so it should be a really good event that year.

I decided the last minute to enter the contest, Wednesday at 3am to be exact, lol. I am glad I did just for the experience and meeting different people from all over the world. Even checking in at the Convention Center it was a trip, I had people that couldnt even speak English coming up to me wanting pictures and trying to talk it was pretty funny. A great time for sure.

The show itself was a shit show, poorly run. IFBB judges from different countries. Night show we had to check in at 5pm, I didnt get onstage util 10:45om or so, it was a logn ass night everyone was tired and drained, the spectators as well! But all in all it was a good time and met some good people. Highlight was this black dude from South Africa asking about DNP and gear where to get some out here, lol, when asked him what about customs bro...he answers hey "I'm Police I wrap it up I know what their looking for, hahaha."

Congrats to board member BRUTUS, some might remember him from CJM and Nexus...I told him to get his ass over here this is a great board and has really picked up. He won Gold Medal in his weight class he look great! Also congrats to his buddy from where he's from as well he won to over 90kv class that I was in too I got Silver Medal next to him, he looked great as well!

In the pisc I am in the bergundy trunks. I came down from 220lbs Weds morning and weighed in at 204lbs Friday at 3:30pm. I was tighter than last weekend and looked fuller, esp in my back and quads..everything I was happy. Since the time frame was so short to load I did a shitload Friday evening as I was hella depleted I depleted teh shit out of my self in those 2 1/2 days. At one point Friday night after eating quite a bit I dried out to 200lbs, lol, I havent been that light since I was 18 years old, lol.

Last pic was from the night show and my conditioning was going downhill by the hour from standing and waiting so damn long, I didnt bring any food ecpecting to be up by 8pm or so, not so much. I thought the Mc Donalds I ate at 3pm would have held me to the show, lol, oh well. also in the pics the guy to MY RIGHT took first.

In the second to last pic he is on the far left in back dbl bi pose.

Yeah thats right Kyle, he took 4th place. I just met him he's a cool guy. He works with a good friend of mien as well.

Ya or fireman stuff like that. Yes his glutes just popped out when he flexed like that crazy.

That dude to your right in the black trunks in the last pic won my contest and he was in my weight class..he was in good condition, dufresne is his coach...he is still conditioned well...he was second overall at the ab provincials, Hes from calgary....cool, thanks for sharing..hes the dude with the shredded glutes above...

My Training partner from winnipeg was in that show too! Eric from winnipeg! He was I think a lightweight Did you meet him?

no I didnt meet him, not that I know of anyways, lol. I always thought my posing sucked, I still have to work on it I think but thanks though maybe I;m not that bad, lol.

Also it seemed they judged us at the night show as they compared us then not in the morning. I seen the judges marking their score cards at night...kinda thought that was odd as I timed my peak for the morning and my meals after teh am show expecting to hit stage around 8ish, not so much it was close to 11 when we did and I had no food with me just jelly beans and a Bud Light Lime I couldnt open bec it wasnt a twist off, lol. I was fading from standing around for over 5 hours as everyone else, lol.

I'm glad that I switched to senior over 90kg before accreditation. I had a shitty final prep. Worst ever. Had a back injury so bad i was in bed for nearly 7 days, I couldn't lift anything, hell I went quading and wouldn't go in the mud ( wore my weight belt) It basically sucked. But I stuck to my diet and stayed in fair shape. Too be honest I couldn't pic between you and craig from the 5th row center. You had some here he had some there, you guys were hard to judge. I had Kyle 3rd not 4th.



besided Craig already beat me once this year, didn't feel like loosing to him again. lol

It was a good time despite all the standing around. Met some new people. Where do you work again? Pm me bro. Later. Think I have a few pics with you in them.
