View Full Version : My head is messed

Not sure where to begin but I will try to be brief. I woke up Saturday to head over to my parents for a family get together. I already knew I did not feel right in the head. Things just kept getting worse. This is the first time I have felt like this in over a year. I used to suffer from anxiety but since I was put on HRT all that went away. Currently life is going better than it has in ages. There are awesome things happening in my life that I should be over the top about but find myself not caring either way. Sometimes I feel like crawling up in a ball and balling my eyes out. I need to get this fixed.
The cycle I am coming off consisted of Deca @300mg\week. I stopped this about 2 weeks ago. This is the first time running Deca. No issues during cycle. 60 mg\day of Var and finished that about a week ago. I am running Test @ 750mg. I was going to drop this to a HRT dose this week. I am also taking Proviron @25-50mg\day. I use this to combat Estro sides. I have been on that dose for 12-13 weeks.
I was thinking the anxiety may have been triggered by high estrogen because I can get weepy when the estrogen gets high. However, this is usually accompanied by itchy nipples. I know from the past that itchy nipples = high estrogen. I then take low dose letro until things subside.
What I am feeling seems to be similar from what I hear from guys who are on PCT after running a heavy cycle. If it helps, I have HCG, letro, nolva, proviron, and Test on hand.
All help appreciated.

I would suggest to add the letro right away. If things are not better in a few days, it's not estrogen related imo.

coming off of var sucks, couple that with the deca drop , your hormones are out of whack, its like a minicrash imo, i dont feel as high of sides as you explain, but when i start my taper thats exactly what i do, is cut all but my test, i definitely feel it and hence add an anti e for this time because i believe you will help alleviate some of the sides when adding an anti e...Dont go to high on the letro either, its a powerful drug...do a search on here there are a lot of opinions on letro...personally i take it eod at 1/2 ml of liquid letro...i believe 1 ml was 1.25mcg....IMO, dont totally drop test, cut it in half for a couple of weeks once you start feeling relief from anti-e..

it sounds to me like it for sur e is the change in hormones has you feeling weird like ironwill said..
i'm not sure about letro but i know for me personally taking nolvadex can make me feel weird so may be something to keep in mind as well..

Thanks buddy. It looks like the wife should be here in about a week. That is one of those awesome things I was referring to. I guess the mail is slow.

Thanks guys. I have used letro in the past and have found that a quarter tab (.625 mg) ED works best. Usually about 10 days worth does the trick. Estro was my first thought but when since I did not have itchy nips I ruled it out.

Bring her over and she can get a free facial done etc

I hope you are referring to the facials your girlfriend gives. Send me a PM with the address\phone\website. We will be heading that way about a week after she is here.

Getting moody when messing with your hormones is normal. I too have suffered from genetic predisposition to anxiety and depression when i was younger, and never took medication for it. I find that after a cycle, when your hormones are out of whack, you can ride that rollercoaster for a while, usually 3 months or more after all esters are cleared.
From experience, I use the mind over matter method. Sometimes ppl feel an emotion, such as anxiety, and look for a cause in their environment. Its kinda like the cat blaming the litter box for his urinary tract infection pain, when the problem is from within. As long as you realize its probably coming from being out of balance, your already one step in the right direction.
If you can get your head around that concept, and think yourself through the situation, your body will eventually start to re-balance and you will likely feel better again. I dont believe in over medicating to fix such a problem as this usually ends up in dependency on some drug, withdrawal, estrogen rebound, or making the problem worse. The most ive done for anxiety is take a weak dose of lorazapam (adivan) if anxiety is way too much to handle, or if i need to be calm in a social situation (like visiting your parents). I only took it once in a blue moon, and havent in years. As for the depression, i just try to work through it. Helps if you have an understanding woman, or friends/family that are alright with your cycling.
Mind over matter bro, if you can do it. When your body is trying to achieve equilibrium its like a wave - up, down, up down until the wave settles into a more normal state.
Of course, if estrogen spikes so high as to cause gyno, id start the letro just as tiamat says, and stop it once the symptoms are gone. Other than that, cold turkey for me!

EDIT : you also have a forum full of ppl here who can relate, and will offer support. They know how you feel.

LOL tex, i should have also mentioned I am coming off a 16 week test/deca run, and off PCT for about 6 weeks, and have been riding to coaster too... mind over matter! Im sure with experience we know things balance out eventually if your treating your body well.

I'm feeling just a tad emotional about it......every time I open my medicine cabinet I have a few bottles of test suspension staring at me.....sometimes at night it talks to me....."just one more hit.....you know you want me....." lol

I've been in the same boat after being on for a long time then all of the sudden just get sick of it all and get off everything and go through hell of pct for a while but it gets better soon after like a week or so, I think it's my body telling me that I am getting too out of whack or damaging my health and it is time to try to normalize and go natural for a while.
good luck bro

yeah, don't get me wrong, things take longer for me too, it is just that first week of pct is really rough and then after that week things start to get a little bit better as you go

I think from now on I will be sticking to Test only. It is not like I am going pro so why go through the pain and misery? As I am on HRT I will just up the Test for 3-4 months and drop to HRT dose for the same....repeat. I have done this in the past with no ill effects.
Thanks all.

I am lucky i guess, i dont like those periods, mine last about a week and a half, then other than some shrinking of my bodyparts, i dont even know im not on emotionally...Its the physical part that gets me...strength loss, and the smaller less hard muscles...i can handle it...mind over matter and knowing im being responsible with my health and cycling off, ready for the next run to be bigger and better...It is a means to a new beginning..
Keep your heads up guys...
