Thx, legs are behind. I have very tight hammies and pulled one a couple months ago, took 3 weeks off of legs, pulled the other one the following week, so took another three weeks off. Also had another injury last fall, no pain, but I just couldn't run past about 50% of my full speed, was just holding me back, so strange. Doctor said probably tore it... though like I said, no pain, no bruising, never 'felt' it. So I took a few months off of legs and just stretched. Haven't tried sprinting since, but am going to start in a couple weeks.

great shape, imo your frame can support a lot more mass

Thank you.
I can put on mass fairly easy, I'm just not sure if I want to, and if I want to committ to it.

You've been at 8-9% for 5-6 years?!? Holy shit, thats dedication! Looking good man.

No no, this is probably the leanest I've ever been, but I'm usually around 240-250.
Been strict in the gym the last 2 year, then couple years before that more so just maintaining/coasting. BF probably bounces around 12-16% outside summer.
When I diet with supplements for summer my weight usually stays the same and bf decreases.

Minus the pulled hamstring, I've been healthy for most of 09 and feel good, and strength is great. Part of me wants to keep going, like I did 6+ years ago, and get up to 270-280 over next couple years, but a part of me wants stay leaner (no bloated face lol), and not get bigger.
GF and a couple other girls suggested I don't get bigger, and it's a bit discouraging. But in the end it's my choice. I have no desire to ever compete though, I'm too tall, lanky looking, with thick joints. I'd think about it if I put on about 30lbs solid.

Lol, ya its almost pointless asking a womans opinion, they all seem to like the lean look. Look at Brad Pit when he leaned out, women loved that look, even my wife found that sexy, wtf!

You have great size and your nice and lean.As for the Hamstring injury i would go see a RMT for deep tissue massage,or get some active release done on it.I had a Hams injury and after two session i was better.

Thanks. Was going monthly for massage, but I don't think they were doing deep tissue massage on it.

honestly you look really good, but again you don't need me to tell you that, search d c style streching that may help with your hammy's. if i were you i'd probably stay the weight you are, it looks good on you.
keep it up bro.

Thanks. I was actually stretching for 45-60mins daily for a few months, then I hurt my back, and couldn't stretch, then just fell out of the loop, kicking myself for stopping.
I'm so on the fence of what I want to do I can't decide. Would be nice to see how much bigger I could get, and also something to motivate me over winter. But at the same time, I'm fairly happy with this size, but have nothing to look forward to.

Thx guys, appreciate it. Was a long road for me to get to this bf. Years past I would always plateau around 9-10ish. But after months and months, I got to the level I wanted to be.

Here is a progress pic from the last five weeks, which is pretty much the time I stopped doing cardio. I probably made more progress in those 5 weeks, then I did the 5 previous MONTHs, which included walking the dog AM, 7 days a week, and 20-30mins after workout, 4days a week.
Still walk the dog, but has been raining so much, It hasn't been as consistent, and usually not in the AM on empty stomach.

Not a huge difference from 18 days ago, but I also had a Wednesday cheat day last week.

Thank you. I had a hell of a time too. Think I posted it in here, but I actually have been dieting since beginning of January, clean till end of May. Then I didn't mind where I was at, and was kinda getting tired of doing the cardio, and being so strict, and all the sudden fat was coming off faster. Also added a bit of fat to each meal. So I don't know if I was in starvation mode, or what, though strength was still increasing, but something just clicked.

I think I could put on another 30lbs fairly easy, but I look at guys that compete, even smaller ones, and I don't know if it's the muscle bellies, or what, but I just feel I'm not even close to that. Not just bf but I guess overall shape, symetry, I don't know what it is. Self conscious maybe lol.

I decide I'm going to stay the size I am over winter, than I get a comment like this, and it makes me want to see how big I can get lol.

** Thx Jersey too.
Appreciate all the comments.
I'm actually usually pretty self conscious about my body.

you have to do what will make YOU happy. If being bigger it is then do it. If it's the way you are then stay the same size. Do not let women dictate how you want to look, think or feel.

Women may like abs and say huge guys are gross but I can assure you I have zero problems attracting attention and gropes from babes when I hit a club every now and again. Chicks like muscle and may say otherwise but when it's in their face they change their tune real quick.

Thanks (again). I know I need to do what makes me happy, but I really don't know what I want. My calves and legs are lacking, I think my back is too. I don't think I ever want to compete, unless I put on say 30-35lbs more. I wouldn't want to do 'okay', I'd want to be like 'wow'. So I also need to decide if I want to committ to it too. Plus I'm always pulling muscles (even though I'm very strict on my form), sore joints, etc., so I don't know.

But taking this serious for the first summer in like 6 years, I now know I can get fairly lean, and the strength in the gym feels great right, I can't imagine if I was actually eating proper calories. I'm eating around 2300 calories and my strength is up and up.

Thanks for the advice.

lol. A lot call them "V" lines, I don't know the proper term.
To be honest before this year I didn't think genetically I would have them as much as I do now.

My diet is pretty simple. I think I posted it somewhere.
See if I can keep it as simple as it seems.
I cycle my carbs.
I eat 6 meals a day.
50g of protein per meal.
3 of the meals protein comes from a protein blend of whey, whole egg, egg white, casein.
2 meals are chicken breast.
1 meal is cottage cheese with scoop of protein.
Carbs first four meals, not the last two.
Last two are usually 1-2 tbsp udo's 3-6-9 oil, and almonds or pb.
9 times out of 10 Oatmeal is usually the only carb I eat because it's so easy to eat for me.

Carb totals will be something like
Monday - 200g carbs / 4 = 50g per meal
Tues - 160g carbs = 40g
Wed - 120g = 30g
Thursday - 80g = 20g
Friday - 160g = 40g
Saturday - 80g = 20g
Then pig out Sunday, sometimes saturday and sunday.
I plateaued a few months ago, so I dropped all cardio, and added about 5-10g of fat to my first four meals, and the fat started to melt off like nothing. (which is pretty much from the first to last picture)

Don't really know. My only explanation would be that my calories were too low so I wasn't burning fat. So by stopping cardio (and not burning calories) plus adding the fat (more calories) I was right where I needed to be to burn fat.
