Keep forgeting to ask this one... I heard Milos say on the off topic radio show that some companies bcaa`s are low quality because the bcaa`s are synthesized or oxidized I forget the proper term from human hair! I have no idea how the hell this is possible. Hope there no pube or ass hairs being used here, lol... Anyone?

I dunno man. When in offseason I find they really help with recovery. Then again, I pound 25 grams before training and 25 grams after training.

I wish I was able to use on this prep as I am starting to feel like my body has been hit by a mack truck some days :(

BCAA's are an crutial part of protein synthesis and muscle recovery.

IMHO theres enuf in protein powders for me as well as the other supplements I take in rather than spend my money on a BCAA powder/product alone.

I once compared the amount of bcaa in a scoop of whey, and yes there`s alot. However, to get the saught after effect, the amino`s must be taken on am empty stomach, which is why it dosen`t make for a fair comparision.

Here`s an example. L-tyrosine, my favorite one. Sure there`s lot`s of tyrosine in protein powder, but you won`t get the dopamine elevation you do from the protein than when you take 3grams empty stomach. See what I`m saying? The bcaa`s boost protein systhesis, are anticatabolic and preserve strenght big time while dieting. I`m not as lean this summer so far and haven`t been using them.

But the doses are important. There`s all kinds of ways to dose them and that`s another debate in itself, but when I had really good results, I was going through 1kg of human hair, or ass hair powder, where ever it comes from every 3-4 weeks. Maybe that`s why everyone says the powder tastes bad, it`s the ass hairs! But we all know Mr O secretly loves the taste and carries a tub with him everywhere he goes to get in his fix...

I find BCAA's an excellent tool for preserving size and strength while coming off.

Very useful as a pre and post workout supplement.

Sound like Milos took the info from the Body Opus book by Dan Duchaine, and there is a chapter on the type of souces that one campany could use for BCAA's,casein, egg,or lactalbumin.

I believe Chris Aceto fortifys his whey protein with bcaa,so much that he says you could see the bcaa powder in his protein powder Ecdy7. He believes its very important in preserving muscle while dieting or he's just trying to sell his protein product.
