The Urine test

This was written by a construction worker in Fort MacMurray- he sure makes a lot of sense.

I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to earn that pay cheque, I work on a rig site for a Fort Mac construction project. I am required to pass a random urine test, with which I have no problem.

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare cheque because I have to pass one to earn it for them?
Please understand that I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone sit on their ass drinking beer and smoking dope.

Could you imagine how much money the provinces would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance cheque? Please pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't.

Something has to change in this country, and soon!

haha, good ol' bank of Canada and media. Sad part about it is a lot of the sheeple believe everything that's told to them in the media.

Sounds good, but the "activists" would raise a Charter issue..
I work so i can be lazy and brink beer and smoke dope on my time off..
Random Urine test's are BS... The one's i've taken have come back Negative.. But i refuse to work anywhere that wants to test my dope.. i just assure them it's quality shit.. :)

Man i don't get this dopeing test. Isn't that against some sort of human rights thing?

I remember a while back they were talking about doing that in the forest industry here till they realized they wouldn't have a workforce left after testing. :D

If they legalized it they might have a lot more control over it's usage,as in the time of usage.

private companies can do whatever they wish as along as you sign off on it. not exactly a bad thing as it is in everyones best interest, last thing I would ever want is to work with someone coked up and half pissed in an area like the oil fields.
