i read an article not too long ago which i cant seem to find again, and it said that the quality of protein found in red meat is at its best when its raw, so i was wondering if theres any truth to this, and if it would be better to eat steak rare, or if this would just cause intestinal track problems and other health issues
because of how much steak we eat thanks in advance

there is some truth to it, i was reading an article last week and it said the longer something is cooked the more nutrients are killed off. that goes for all food

agreed
Heat destroys enzymes. The longer you cook anything the less your body can use.
Plus, rare steak tastes WAY better :)

I eat tons of raw fish all the time. I like my steaks med rare.
I have a fish store that I trust..he says to me a few months ago, "Dear don't eat my salmon raw this week, due to the holiday it didn't get her as fresh as I like, wait till Wed I'll have more fresher in." He sold me tuna steaks that he trusted but not the salmon.
Don't ever do chicken raw though..

Carl Lanore from superhuman radio is big on eating raw meats, and get this, even chicken. To me it just sounds so disgusting, imagine eating raw hamburger meat...

I`d maybe try a steak raw, but that would be the only meat I`d try. Just to clarify, raw as in not cooked at all right? What about some steak popsicles?

Ya raw, never seen a barbicue.. I wouldn't do it with meat from say safe-way or any big store for that matter. A farm fresh slab of raw meat is all i'd try. Or like FC said, a small butcher shop would carry desent meat.

Well I may have to hold off then because I don`t buy my meat from a small butcher shop. Good thing you told me about this.

Raw meats? Holy smokes boys, unless that cow was killed in front of me I wouldn't be doing it. Let alone chicken. I'm not one to sit on the shitter all night with a garbage can in front of me. Red meats I'd say at least go to blue. Chicken, would never risk it. Fish is ok obv. Everyone has heard of sushi.
