Actually a Doc thats prescribes HRT usuallt will give a script for Test CYP @ about 100-200 mgs/EW depending on certain individuals physical needs.

If it's truly for HRT, I wouldn't go over 100mg a week. Thats still being generous considering the average male doesn't produce even that much naturally.
EDIT: NVM, I forgot to take ester into consideration. 100mg of Test E wouldn't be a full 100mg, so you could get away with a little more than 100mg.

Well to be more accurate you are right, the average male produces between 75-100mgs of natty test/EW. When a male approachs a Doc with need of HRT he will have certain defficiencies such as little energy, low to no sex drive, very little strength and a loss of muscle mass despite his efforts to remain fit.
So thats why a dosage of 200mgs/Ew for a time would be neccessary.
Hope that helps.

from anothe board alot of the vets cruise at 250/ week, you gotta take into account extra muscle mass some of you carry.need more to maintain, 200 to 250 seems reasonable.

A good friend of mine has been on TRT for over 5 years and uses 150mg of test per week. He said that that dose puts his test levels in the high normal range. Hope this helps a little...

Yes it all helps. I've heard of people running HCG along with the test? Read this over on another board in which test was shot twice a week followed by HCG at a low dose on a day between the test shots. Why would you use HCG with such a small dose of test?

The HCG helps to keep the testes stimulated and keeps the leydig cells of the testes functioning. This can assist with fertility issues or simply keep the testes working so that if HRT is ever ceased the testes (after proper drug protocol) should resume natural test production.
