I've never used insulin but know all the symptoms of insulin shock and have gone into insulin shock 4 times in my life.
The first time happened about 8 years ago when I used SportPharma's Vanadyl PH product. I followed the label's directions and never went above the recommended dose. One day after my workout, I had it w/ my post workout shake and about 30 minutes later I was shaking uncontrollably and broke into a cold sweat while I was taking a warm shower. I immediately got out and ate a bunch of white bread w/ honey and drank juice and felt normal again.
The second time it happened was about 3 years ago exactly the same way, but this time with MuscleTech's Cell Tech but not to the same degree.
The third time was when I used regular creatine with dextrose powder first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. That was the worst episode ever since I went to the mall after taking it. It was so bad that I started getting confused and short of breath and although it was a boiling hot summer day, I was freezing. On a sidenote, I was trying to follow what I read in Chemical Muscle Enhancement by Author L Rea and personally I've found that almost everything he recommends or swears by is bullshit. In my opinion, his books are based on his own personal use and nothing else. In that case, we all should write books and sell them.
Anyway, the fourth time happened about a year ago and that was by using Ultimate Nutrition's Vanadyl Sulphate according to the label. So after these four instances, I've learned that my body's own natural insulin secretion is very sensitive just to insulin mimickers and dextrose. Blood results are excellent and it's never happened when I haven't taken any of that stuff and there is no family history of diabetes or insulin problems. Like I said, I knew the symptoms real well from before and knew what was happening when it was happening. Having said that, you could see how apprehensive I am to even testing 1 iu/day of insulin. So in your opinion, do you think I could just use insulin mimickers with my cycle instead and achieve similar results as if I were to use actual insulin? Thanks for your input.
